Re: Pure polyurethane OR Allergan Implants????
I don't know! I would guess that there have been improvements since but I've only really been researching for a year or so, Its great to hear you had them for so long!!
I'm doing great, so happy esp with my incisions!! I had discomfort but never pain and at three weeks today I'm feeling almost back to normal! Xx

Yes, they're 'cohesive' hun. The same now as they were then and the same type of fill that you felt when you visited Transform and felt the CUIs hun.biggerboobs13 wrote:Thanks Jennifferf1,
Ive had a look but its hard to know if the ones I had put in 10yrs ago are the same cohesive as they make today?
How are your boobs settling in?
Have you experienced much pain/discomfort?
XX
If you are looking for an implant that fully hold its form in the Allergan superior range then you're going to be looking at getting the Soft Touch. If you're wanting like for like in the superior range then the Responsives have the same fill as the Eurosilicone, Allergans budget implant the CUI also has the same type of fill as well babe. Xx

Hi
Thanks Cookie x
My head is spinning with all the different choices of implant !
I am going for a consultation with George spyrou at my breast, they said they use Nagor, just to confuse me even more when I thought id decided on the allergan responsives ! lol.
Not sure what My breast are like?
Also booked to see Marcus Sforza at THG apparently theyre both good surgeons ?

Re: Pure polyurethane OR Allergan Implants????
MyBreast only use BAAPS members so you KNOW you're going to get a good surgeon there. The Nagor implants they use are an excellent implant. The Nagor Impleo the latest 5th generation implant. They're British made and a common choice of use for BAAPS surgeons. They have the 100% fill so they also lessen the risk of CC as well.
THG don't use BAAPS members so although you may have 'heard/read' good things about Marcus Sforza who isn't a BAAPS member its very important you check out him out on the GMC register for yourself babe.
Good luck with the consultations and please let us know how you get on. Xx

Thanks Again cookie for taking time to give me your advice :-)
Am I right in thinking that the nagor impleo implants have the same outer shell layers of protection against rupture just like the allergan responsives?? (Or just as layed I mean)

Thanks xx

Re: Pure polyurethane OR Allergan Implants????
Well they basically use the same technology, they're just as good.... If not better from what I found from my own research. They have different copyright shells though with the Natrelle range having the Biotex shell and the Nagor range having the Nagotex shell.
Both offer lifetime replacement but Allergan offer this ONLY for rupture. This does not cover CC. Nagors implant warranty covers both ruptures and CC.
The rupture rate for Nagors is 0.1% see HERE
The rupture rate for Natrelles is 8.6% see HERE
