Pure implants
Hi,
Has anyone had these implants or know of anyone who has? Are you pleased with them?
Thanks
Becky

Re: Pure implants
They're a very good implant hun. They a polyeurothane implant which are more commonly known as the 'furry Brazilians' and are becoming increasingly common in use by BAAPS surgeons now too. X
Re: Pure implants
Thank you..
I had my first consultation and tried all 3 shapes (round, teardrop and conical) and the one that suited me best was the conical and I believe it's only the pure implants that do this shape..

Re: Pure implants
Thanks Cookie! I didn't realise that they were the 'furry Brazilians'!
These are what I'm having and thinking about it the name does make sense as they feel furry like a peach lol
I'm learning so much everyday, this forum is amazing as are the women who post here. I would be a lot less informed without it. Thanks Becky for the post x

Re: Pure implants
I'd heard of furry Brazilians but hadn't realised that was what I'm having!
That's right I'm with GG. Going to ring today to get another consultation to go over size lol I originally chose 295cc conicals and want to be a large C but I'm thinking that maybe I need to go a little bigger to achieve this (I'm currently wearing a 32a but never been measured).
Am I right in thinking that its the furry Brazilians that don't drop and fluff? x

Re: Pure implants
Furry Brazillians supposedly don't drop and fluff, but from seeing 5stonedowns picturetrail and reading about her fluffing 'again' at 7 months post-op this could be questioned couldn't it... But best go over this with your surgeon to get the right size for 'you'
You can read a little more about the PURE implant if you'd like to HERE girls. Xx

Re: Pure implants
Thank you so much for the Info Cookie.
Betterthantoast. Have you got your BA booked in with GG yet?
Thats is exactly what I have gone for 295 Conical, overs.. (are yours over or unders?) and I am a 32A and want to be a full C. Then next size up just looked massive to me, which he said would make me more a D/DD - but like you I am thinking the same..
I wonder if its possible to have one last check of size on the day of surgery or doesn't it work like that?
Do you mind me asking, what has made you choose the conicals over all the other more common ones? I feel like I am trying to find justification in my decision as these aren't that common - if that makes sense?

Re: Pure implants
I totally understand that!
I'm booked in for 9th July at Chelmsford :)
I have gone for overs as that is what GG recommended. I expected him to say unders but actually after thinking about it and some explanation it does make sense to me. I have had 2 children and so although what once 'filled out' the top of my boobs has headed south hence why I think I don't need unders. Also I said I would like cleavage (I have never had cleavage, except when I was pregnant) and because my boobs are further apart I believe overs are likely to help reduce the gap to help create cleavage.
There is another reason for me. I have an odd set of ribs and GG is planning to hide this (hopefully) with the placement of the implant.
And as for the conicals I think they were more natural on me, it didn't make sense for me to have the teardrop as I want to fill out the upper part of my boobs too.
So many choices, If you're not sure then maybe ask for another appointment? I'm sure GG would go through it all with you. Or even see someone else to see what they suggest and compare?

Re: Pure implants
I am going to book for the 12th July at London and everything that you have just written is me to a T..
I too have odd ribs and after having 2 children I have such a flat chest and like you have never had a cleavage so he can position them more with overs...
I do have an apt booked for tomorrow in Reading with Transform but I know I don't like the shape of the implants they offer so I am pretty sure that I am going to cancel..
I am going to go for it and get it booked with GG, when I book I will ask about another consultation re size..
Thank you Raine, you just shifted that tiny bit of uncertainty in my mind

Re: Pure implants
Of course! lol I can see how some may see that as a little dodgy
As far as I'm aware GG does Chelmsford on a Tues and Weds. If you do go to Chelmsford you can walk to the shops in no time and there is plenty of coffee shops etc if your dad is going to wait for you.

Re: Pure implants
I have them and I love them!! They dont drop the same way that other implants drop. The surgeon places them where they are meant to stay but the skin will still relax over the implant over time allowing them to fluff slightly... this took over 7 months for me and polyyurethane implants do take longer than other implants to soften but when they do they do get lovely and squishy!!

Re: Pure implants
Hi girls know this post is a little old but hoping to get a response if ur still on here. I've got a consultation with mr georgeu this week for furry brazilians.... Been told may get away with these instead of uplift and implants. Can you let me know your experiences of this implant and if you would recommend him as a surgeon, I would so love to hear back x

Re: Pure implants
Hey there,
I had Garrick Georgeu and the pure implants nearly 4 months ago now. Garrick is fab, great advice and he 100% knows what he is doing. I totally trusted him. I had 295cc low profile conical overs. They are the perfect size for me and went from a 32a to a 30e! As the other ladies said they don't drop but mine are softening nicely and feel very natural now. The reason I went for this implant is that it has the lowest rate of cc. Anyway hope u get on ok at your consultation. X

Re: Pure implants
I only thought I would be a c cup and was totally shocked when I got measured and they said 30e! They don't look that big though to be honest and someone having the same size implant as me could get a totally different size. Let us know how you get on with garrick and what he recommends for you x x

Re: Pure implants
Hey! I'm still on here tho I don't post very much any more :(
I had Pure implants with GG and have just had my 4 month post op check.
I've been very happy with my choice of implant and also surgeon.
I had the 295cc low profile conicals and went from a 32a to a 28ff! Garrick was surprised when I told him my size however they don't look huge on me (I'm a size 8-10). I found Garrick to be honest, very informative and I felt that I could trust him.
I expected pain and was very surprised that I took painkillers only the day of the op and the following morning, after that there was none! I was strapped up after the op, and would say that the tightness on my chest was the most annoying part of my recovery.
At this stage they are definitely a lot softer tho I think there is still more time for softening to continue
I am planning on doing my picture trail tonight if you'd like to see.
HTH and enjoy your consultation

Re: Pure implants
Hi girls, went to see garrick georgeu yesterday, he was nice like everyone said. Unfortunately he gave me much the same answer as the two other consultants, that I would need a lift at some stage. Measure 25cm from collarbone down, nipples face forward but hv low set chest and all volume in my 32/34 b boobs sits below the nipple. I'm now still in a quandary, I was hoping with the furry brazilians the lift would make the difference. All surgeons say cud hv bigger implants, between 295 and 400cc but I'm still worried that may b too big for me. None of the surgeons can offer a guarantee on the look il achieve and all said a lift would be needed some point in the future...I'm going over and over in my head and u girls hv been great sharing your stories and opinions....just letting u all know where I am now! X
