Isabell have questions?
Hi everyone!
I am now 4 days postop after a full anchor uplift with 440cc furry brazilians.
My first question is about the waterproof strap/bandage, it is sitting very very tight under my breasts and because I had a bleeding at the hospital in my lower right scar it still seems to be moisture between the strap/bandage & my boobs.
What do you think I should do about this? Have a shower and try to clean it off or just leave it, I also need to add that there is still some discharge from my vertical scar on this boob which probably add to the moisture.
I can feel a pulsing pain from that scar, but I guess this is normal?
I am on antibiotics already.
I just want to know if the wounds are best to be left alone or to be cleaned.
I love you all:h:

Re: Isabell have questions?
Hi hunny, do NOT shower or get the insions wet, this can potentially cause an infection.
When do you have your next post op check it's usually anywhere between 5-10 days post op for a wound check and dressing change. ?

Re: Isabell have questions?
I don't have any experience of this but like the girls say it's not good to shower so early on, if you feel worried you could ring in but it sounds like all is ok :) xx

Definitely leave the showering until after your first check-up. Everything else sounds normal, pleased for you that all is going well x

Re: Isabell have questions?
Give the clinic a call Isabell, some surgeons use a waterproof dress and you're absolutely fine to shower from day one, so if this is the case with you, there's nothing at all stopping you from showering babe. If not, thn after an uplift its 'generally' 2 weeks before you're tale to shower hun.IsabellExpat wrote:Hi everyone!

Don't worry about the feeling of moisture babe. Often this is more 'nerve sensation' that makes you feel you can be wet, when there's nothing here at all. If you do have some oozing though, again... It fine. Unless the dressings are sodden with blood and showing no sign of stopping the you have nothing worry about Isabel
Pulsing from your scars are vey normal. Its just the skin stating to knit back together that al hun.
If you are able to shower I might add with your waterproof dressing on (if they are waterproof, as I said, best you check on that) then don't rub to clean dressings at all, don't worry about that a bit. The dressings are best not bing disturbed at all whilst healing, those first couple of weeks are when the majority o healing happens, so don't disturb those au al, just allow the water to run over them and then pat dry and then using a hairdryer on a cool sped, just gently air dry them to ensure they're fully clean.xx
Re: Isabell have questions?
Thanks lovely Cookie!
Yes I have waterproof dressings! The surgeon has put 2 straps (or maybe 3) of them under my boobs, up all the way to my armpits.
He told me that if I have a shower I really need to pull the dressings down and make sure I dry everything, and as you said, with I cool hair dryer.
But there is no chance I can pull those straps down! They are so tight and there is some kind of glue on them that is still stuck on my boobs even when I pull them down.
The discharge from the wounds seemed to have stopped yesterday.
I have no problem at all not to shower this area until next Wednesday when I'm going back to meet surgeon and remove everything. I can just clean everything around.
I only want to shower this area if this is the best for my wounds.
Me smelly and filthy?? Couldn't care less with these 2 art pieces on my chest...

Re: Isabell have questions?
Hahaha. You do make me laugh Mrs.
You're fine as you are are - stinky and all hahaha not disturbing the wound is priority so, if you'd have difficulty with the straps then best leave well alone till you go back for your check up babe. Xx
