One week on.....
Hi girls, this is my first post but I just needed to check everything was normal.
I have my op a week ago today with the implants under the muscle, firstly I didn't have feelings in my boobs and nipples but the last two days I've found I randomly get weird stingy/pains in my nipples when I move? And they are so sensitive. Has anyone had this before? And how long is it until they drop and start to look like normal boobs?
Thanks x

Welcome to the forum,
Yes its very normal! If you want you can pop a little cotton pad over the nipple to help relieve some of the discomfort... Feelings can take 2 years to come back slowly...
Everyone will drop at different rates, It can start a few weeks in but you wont see your final result until possibly the 6 month mark x

Hey. Yep, all sounds normal to me! Some of the popping and pinging is air bubbles dissappating into your body, totally harmless. Its also a good sign that the nerves are knitting back together. And the numbness is normal. I got nipple feeling back at about 2m, but still have patches on both 'underboob' where theres no feeling at all. As jenn said, it can take up to 2yrs sometimes to get full sensation back.
As for dropping, its all individual. Mine are just starting to look more boobyline at 3month, but again, it can take 6-12m before you get a 'final' result. You'll read this over and over on here - everyone heals differently, and we have to be patient! Those first couple of weeks are the hardest when you're just like 'hurry up and be boobs!'. But they'll all get there eventually :)

Yes all totally normal hunny, the sensations you are experiencing are the nerves trying to reconnect togther and give off electric shock type sensations and the insions can sting , the skin can also feel sunburnt but rest assured all totally normal.
Yes it can be a bit frightening if you don't know what's normal or what to expect.
Any other questions sweetie just ask away. Also in the September buddies will also be early post oppers like yourself going through the same

Its good to read this, I'm quite worried about losing sensation when I have mine done, reassuring to read girls experiencing it!!

Hiya, yes that all sounds normal. Mine were numb at first - I still haven't got all my sensation back yet.
I had mine done on 31st July and they haven't finished dropping yet. Realistically I am hoping by 6 months they will be nearly finished x
