Re: drains
I wouldn't worry about drains 'if you're having them' girls. Not everyone does and this is one thing that simply down to surgeons preference.
Some surgeons believe they're beneficial for a primary surgery, others not...
The most pain you get from them is a pain in the ass from from having to carry them with you everytime you need the loo! Hahahaha.
They're not something I'd personally spend any time worrying about at all. It feels a little odd when the drains are removed but that's about it.
I followed the instructions I was given by the clinic nurse and that was to turn my head away and take deep breaths in and out... She told me she would have the drains out on the count of three and before she'd even counted one, it was out and done and I had no idea at all sitting like a loon waiting for my countdown when the nurse said "its done" I felt no pain whatsoever from them. Xx

Re: drains
How strange cos when they removed the drain from my left boob I haven't felt a thing but from right boob.. I was in agony.. I guess it's also due to the skill of the nurse and mine clearly didn't know what she was going :-(

Re: drains
It's nothing to worry about, I'm the most Squimish person ever and was freaking out about them, but in the end didn't even feel them being removed! Xx
