Anatomical partials
Hi girls, I've got a few questions so bare with me...
With anatomical implants does a size look/come up smaller than the same size in round (ie 375cc anatomical vs 375cc round-will the round be bigger, so would you want a slightly bigger cc if you were having anatomical to get the same results?)
Do partials make a difference to sizing-would an implant of the same size look bigger as an over?
My ribs size is 30" and I'm a size 8-10 (more a 10 today after a huge Chinese takeaway last night woops) I wear a 34B bra at the mo and am looking at going to a DD/E cup so would the 370cc be about right or should I think about the next size (440cc). (Moderate nagor) Oh and I'm 5'4"
As you can guess I forgot to ask all these questions at my consultation yesterday but will be discussing further at my next consultation with him :)
Any experiences/opinions would be great :)
Thanks,
Sarah xxx

Re: Anatomical partials
Hey! 375cc is 375cc no matter what shape you put it in! I guess from a logic point of view, there may be more volume in the lower part, but once gravity takes hold, rounds end up anatomical shaped anyway. I think its personal preference and surgeons advice.
A lot of people say that you lose a % if you go under, but one of the mods on here changed hers from unders to overs and didn't change size at all, so there's no absolute answer there.
Look up your exact implants online and you should be able to find the diameters. Then, when you make your rice boobies, cut the shape out of a cereal box to make a template to mould the rice onto. This will help give the right shape and diameter of the boob!

I agree with charii, although it is said you loose a percentage, there isn't exact proof of this and due to gravity rounds don't stay round forever lol!
We can't tell you what size is more likely to get you your DD/E you want but when I had a choice between two sizes I looked up the dimensions of my implant online, with knowing my BWD, I was able to choose the bigger after finding the projection was only 1cm more and the width of the bigger would still comfortably fit :) xx

That is such a great tip about the cardboard, I'll definitely try that !
That's good to know, I'm soo happy to have moved up to the nxt stage, but gosh all these base plus heights vs projections and ccs is a mind boggle to say the least :) xxx

Ahh brill :D from Today I will be doing arts and crafts with the kids to create my new 'sock puppets' and I'll see how I feel once I've got an idea of sizing :) I've always thought I was a 34 cup but my surgeon said I'm more a 30 or 32 when he measured me, and as I've found out on here a DD is very different on a 30" to a 34" band size...!!
Right, where are them cereal boxes... Xxx

Re: Anatomical partials
Bra sizing has changed now Hun, you used to always have to 'add 4' to your under breast measurement to get your band width, but you don't do that anymore. So your surgeon is probably right.
I didn't know this until I found this site! I always thought I was a 32 but now I can either be a 28 or 30 (depending where the bra is from) x

It's so funny isn't it ! I never imagined being a 30 but a32 does feel quite comfy so I'll work from that :) xx
