Re: Breast Reduction/uplift
Bless your heart, you are going through it aren't you. I haven't heard of a reaction to an infection in this way, so thank you for sharing. Its good for us to learn here.
A Seroma also comes to mind too with the drain being there, so hearing an infection reacts in this way is good for us all to know.
Wishing you a speedy recovery sweetheart and hoping you're in the comfort of your own home soon

Jojo sweetie... So glad your on your way to recovering again. No doubt your head is battered by the events of the last few days. Just try and start to heal and take some time out sweetie. One day at a time ok... Your have been brave and so positive too. Unfortunately things like this happen and I think you have dealt with it amazingly so. Time to rest up now sweetie x

Re: Breast Reduction/uplift
You be fine with the stitches Jo don't worry. Surgeons never tend to use permanent stitches these days, they use the dissolvable, but even though they're dissolvable, they still need some help with some needing to be taken out. Especially the knots which don't tend to dissolve well often.
If you do have permanent which I just had too babe, because I have an allergy to the dissolvable suctures then its fine. Absolutely painless. You'll feel a little tugging and a bit of a strange sensation as you feel them pull through, but there's no pain at all and its all done in two minutes. Xxx
