Congratulations on your surgery! I'm having a lollipop lift with implants on the 30th of October so it's a bit different but I hope you're recovering well x

Re: Breast Reduction/uplift
Hello and welcome to Breast Buddies Jojo
Having your dressings changed for the first time can sometimes be a big shock babe so do be aware of that. Your boobs may look all puckered around the areolas, the stitches may look awful but just keep in your mind that one year from now.... They're going to be barely visible!
Hope all goes well today babe and please let us know how you got on. Xx

Thank you....good luck with your surgery when the time comes ...I found not drinking milk after surgery helped with the general anaesthetic I was advised anyway even though I was sick once ....I'm usually sick quite few times so just stayed with black tea...I took pic before surgery when surgeon drew on me and next one I will take tomorrow after dressings have been taken off will be a dramatic change after taken 7lb 12oz off altogether !!!....xx

Wow, that's quite a reduction! Congratulations on your surgery - my cousin had a reduction and even though the recovery was tough at times she doesn't regret it at all x

Re: Breast Reduction/uplift
Yaaaaaaay for the shower! Haha. Unbelievable isnt it how much you miss a shower. You won't half enjoy it though.
When you have your shower lovely I don't know whether your nurse explained but just let the water run over the stitches, its more than enough to be keeping them clean. Then just dab your boobs dry with your towel, I was over cautious and used a different towel for each boob to avoid passing any infection between the two lol, but I'm a bit OCD anyway, so as long as they're patted dry that's fine. Then get your hairdryer and put it on a cool setting and gently blow dry your incisions until they are bone dry.
Any dampness is a breeding ground for infection babe, so do ensure they're thoroughly dry.
Happy showering!

Can I ask quick... Does it matter on the temperature of the water? Should it be not too hot? Xx

Re: Breast Reduction/uplift
Hi unfortunately took a down turn my left breast started to leak late this afternoon so I changed my dressing it leaked through that until I was soaked and the smell was rancid so I knew had infection phoned hospital who did operation and had to go straight in they have took a look and said definitely infection...I felt unwell last night and thought might be coming down with cold so did not take much notice plus only had dressings changed at hospital yesterday ...so they have put me on iv antibiotics and cleaned me and surgeon is coming to see me in morning....hopefully will clear up quick but I'm so worried xx
