When can I get measured?
I don't want to keep bothering my surgeon but how many weeks was it before you were measured for a bra?
I've got 4-6 weeks in my head....

Re: When can I get measured?
It's normally 6 weeks once your out the sports bras, allowed to wear wires and have seen the surgeon but you might not feel ready by then so it's up to you really xx

Re: When can I get measured?
Yeah 6 weeks it's the normal mark, but a lot of girls decide to just get a few bras and leave it a few months longer to have a final fitting and splash out on expensive sets, leaving plenty of time for fluffing and dropping, last thing you want to do its not wear a properly fitting bra after all this we go through

Re: When can I get measured?
I had a bad one done at 6wk in HofF for a sports bra, but then waited til 8wk to get a proper one done at Boux as that was when my notes said I could be out of sports bras 24/7. I got a bit greedy though, and bought quite a few, even though I know they may change up to 6-12mths.

Re: When can I get measured?
Ok was thinking maybe a month but maybe I need to leave it another couple of weeks
I won't see my surgeon again now until December and I think he said 6 weeks but to be honest he speaks so quickly that could have been exercise
I hate to keep asking these questions but I guess I better had to check both about bras and exercise
And yes I was going to get a non wired couple of bras and then was thinking more in the new year to get measured again and buy my sets etc
Thank you all xx

Re: When can I get measured?
Definitely check if you are not sure! We all get different time scales - I bought two on my first measuring, I didn't want to go mad because in all likelihood your measurements will change.
Have fun shopping, I highly recommend Bravissimo x

Re: When can I get measured?
I got measured last week at bravissimo, after a 5 week check with surgeon where he gave me the all clear to resume life as normal in all ways. i bought 4 bras and want to buy more, but following advice on lovely ladies on here will hold off a little longer in case they drop n fluff over the coming months x
