September Buddies

Hi guys. I was discharged at 7am and got home an hour ago. I feel a bit tender and can't ignore the fact I've got a heaving area in my peripherals but other than that, I'm ok. 

My room was right by their reception desk so I saw every hour of the night last night. Ace eavesdropping....I did appreciate the half hour sleeps I got though strangely. 

My boobs are so high! So I'm hoping my strapping will help ease them southward. They need it! 

I was very nervous about my return home and wasn't shocked when both toddlers came charging towards me. Uh oh. My 2 yr old thinks "mumma is hurty on her chest" and keeps yanking my top down to see the strapping. He's a bit heavy handed. But my 1 year old doesn't understand why I'm not cuddling him properly. Then he fell over and my rubbish ground-cuddle just didn't cut it. 

I've strained my arms a few times already trying to help out or stop them falling etc so it's time to be more aware of my needs and my new boooobs. I'm only wearing a bra and strapping so my hubster got a decent peek. He went all red and just gorped. Then I realised that's all I was doing too!

Ps girls - I've 2 questions

1. I have been wearing the M&S high impact sports bra since the op. When I returned home, my Macom had arrived so I swapped them. The macom felt almost too comfortable and more like a crop top. Is this right? I didn't feel it was supporting me too well. 

2. No one has told me to go to sleep sitting up. I'm assuming I'm supposed to. How long for?

Hi Nsaw great to hear from you!
Yes the macom will be fine, your boobs only need to be held in place, the bra shouldn't be too tight.... You don't need to sleep sitting up at all, your head and shoulders just need to be raised about your chest so an extra pillow is fine... do this for two weeks as it is meant to encourage blood flow esp to your incisions.

Aww hope your little one is ok and has someone around to pick him up for you etc so you don't do any damage! You have boobs! x

Well girls this month is going........... You got to all come and see me in October buddies........ Not long now. Still havnt changed my ticker. I keep thinking if I do my date may change again........... I am surrounded by people with bad colds. I'm avoiding them like the plague. My best friend is full of it...... I have told her to keep away. Got 2 girls at work sniffing over me......... Not again!!!!!!!!! Xx

I'm really good thanks bizzy, my areolas arnt hurting as much which is amazing because it made me feel like I had a slow recovery!! The tiny incision on my left boob look AMAZING because there are no scabs left! From a distance you can't see anything haha!! 
Loved my meal, was good to celebrate properly, got a gorgeous cocktail!

Bizzy I am stalking you in October!! I'm excited for you, it's coming around!!

Hi bizzy, yep strapping off on Wednesday.  Am feeling really flat and fed up today.

Kel is hard to adjust within your new limits isn't it with the kids. ?

Jen, I am getting really excited, I had all the new paperwork through the other day with admission time and when I can eat etc etc..... Even reading that got me excited..........
It's 10 days........ Think I've been on this countdown before, lets hope I get further this time. I'm sure I will......
All these pages would've made a good book......... Would be nice to look back and read....xx

I'm in at 7.30 and i'm a day case so hopefully I won't be waiting around too much...

I had a mcdonalds breakfast today and I've eaten loads of chocolate this evening. Think it's the nerves. At this rate I'm just gonna be a fat pig with a big old pair of boobies...

Evening ladies!

Louise you will be fine hope reading our posts has assured you there's nothing to it. You won't even remember closing your eyes and before you know it it'll be all done.

I am just sooooo tired have spent day resting but had to cook everyone's dinner tonight, done some washing and my youngest has arrived home from her school trip extremely tired and she is the Tasmanian devil so she's been an absolute nightmare!

I feel like my boobs are very high they drop when the implant settles don't they?  Will be interesting to see whats lurking underneath! 

I've been eating like a horse so absolutely have to stop that otherwise I'll be lardy with boobies too !

Jen, yeah I'm overnight, got to be there for 4.00pm so think I've gone from first on list to last....... Be late by he time I'm back in my room, hopefully I will sleep well that night and still be dopey from G.A.

Haha kel I know!! I took sennakot day 3 and hated it but I brought some stupidly big pjs by mistake from primark pre BA so stuck those on lol!! Xx

I'm sitting waiting in my surgery gear...I burst out laughing when the surgeon drew on me. I'm distracting myself by thinking about the lunch option I chose for afterwards LOL!!!
