Happy Birthday for tmrw Jen 22 blimey at 43 that seems like a lifetime ago!! Have a pamper maybe can you get out and treat yourself to a pedicure or something?

Thanks for the birthday wishes :) haha that's the plan!! I am going out in the evening for a birthday meal so it's not too bad :) and will you all behave, you shouldn't feel old, your all fab and either have amazing boobs or will be getting them lol :D xxx

Overnight stay too!! You get to see him for 2 days....
Actually there's a question, does your surgeon come to see you next day? Or is it over to nurses? I'm bed,breakfast and evening meal.......... So was wondering as I'm having drains, does he take drains out or nurse?

Bizzy yes I'm assured he is amazing and that is by far the most important thing. I don't know if I'm having drains or if I'll see him the next day. When you say bed breakfast and evening meal makes it sound like a holiday lol! Mine will be a one night holiday from my naughty kids he he!

Haha I almost forgot...when I went for my top up, the nurse showed me to a room, and asked me to get ready by taking my jacket and cardigan off for now and wait for the surgeon, so I was sat there for about 10minutes just reading all the posters and people watching out of the one way window....Anyway in he walks, cool as a breeze, and just says

"Ok let me see"

Erm....good afternoon doctor foo...yes my recovery has been going well so far, thank you, yes of course I will remove my top.......

No hello, no small talk, straight to the point, haha hes crazy!!

Hope its normal blondiebex I feel the same! All these years of saying "if I had the opportunity to get my boobs done I so would" now I have the opportunity I'm wondering will I like it, will big boobs make me look fat when I've just lost weight. Silly I know but I bet lots of us feel like this beforehand we are making fairly serious changes to the bodies we are used to.

Big news: I got up the courage and had my first shower! yahoo

it was amazing!!!!!! (I have been washing having a half filled bath). Only took me 2 weeks after she said I could shower to actually do it!!! Hysterical

Yes very normal to have second thoughts and nervous about it just before!!!!!!

Hello ladies!! Feel like I've not popped by for ages, but I've been reading all your posts!

Firstly Jen Happy Birthday!!! Woohoo! Can you believe it, your first birthday with boobies!! Hope you're having a lovely day and I'm sure you'll get spoilt rotten!

Secondly Blondiebex, completely normal to now be second guessing the decision you've made. I'm amazed I went though the operation, I had to stop myself jumping off the bed as they were taking me in. It's just those darned nerves. You know you've wanted this for years and now you're going to do it, its natural to be scared and nervous, but hang on in there and you will be absolutely fine!!

Stupid question and I know is because I'm nervous. But on the day you go in freshly showered with no body lotion or deodorant right? It says nothing on my paper work.

I'm at work and I can't concentrate on anything, guilt had kicked in Again now because of my boys.. How long did it take you ladies with children to get back on the school run (with someone of course)..?

Jen - I'm off to get my pick n mix today. . At least with all these nerves I won't eat them lol...

My admission time is 7:30 so at least I won't have to long to worry, got a hour and a half drive before then too.. panic

Blondie I'm not in til 12.30!!! Plan to keep myself busy with hoovering and changing the beds. How long have you taken off work?

I'm sitting at my desk with my stomach churning! People asking me what I"m doing on my week off lol can hardly say oh just getting a boob job !!! x
