Hi tink, good question, be interested to see the answers as I'm having this done next Sunday...

I don't know technical details but for me it's to fix the tuberous shape, I was told I don't even have a breast crease so I need to have one created lower then my tuberous breast to create a round look and for them to be in the right place on my chest... I think it's used to basically make sure the implants don't sit to high ..

But looking forward to hearing other answers who have experience of it! :) xx

yes the pocket that I have is the lowest it can go so thats why im needing my crease lowered so that the pocket can be lowered too
 
but like you I dont know whats done xx
