Re: Creams 8 weeks
We're you instructed by your surgeon to start using creams at 4 weeks Sophie?
Have you been given the all clear to use things on your scars by your surgeon or clinic nurse?
If you have then that's fine sweetheart. But if not its VERY important you have a wound check by your surgeon or the clinic nurse first and getting the all clear to use scar treatments so as to avoid the risk of infection lovely. Xx

Re: Creams 8 weeks
If the wounds were inflamed and reacting babe. I'd just get them checked to ensure all is well.
Having had infection before though I'm over cautious Sophia. I'd prefer a nurse to see the state my scars are in at the time before approving treatment. Obviously with you in the first instance she got it wrong but thankfully it was just inflamed and no infection. I'd just get'em checked hun... But that's me.
Its entirely up to you lovely... Remember, if you're healing well, you don't need to put creams, oils or lotions on scars at all. Xx
