Putting creams on boobies...
Hi,
Now I know this may seem like a silly question but I need to ask it anyway! lol!
I usually smother myself in creams after showers but for the last two weeks I haven't due to not feeling like it etc but yesterday I started again and put my cocoa butter on my boobies... is this ok? I didn't put it near the scar just at the top of my boobs as they have been really dry, I think due to the binder.
Is this OK? I don't see why it wouldn't be but just wanna check :smiler:
Thanks, Helen x

Re: Putting creams on boobies...
I don't know yet as I'm only just over two weeks post op. I can measure though as I used to work for a lingerie company but I'm scared I'm going to be disappointed! I hope to achieve a D cup but right now I do fee quite small... maybe I should try measuring myself!
I'm doing good thanks, started to feel much better after the 5/6 day mark and feel pretty normal now! Still have a long way to go but I'm happy I have no pain or anything. Only thing I don't like is walking about without the Macom on...feel weird! lol!
You must be getting excited now for your op?! x

Re: Putting creams on boobies...
Its strange , I was so excited a few weeks ago but I feel a bit flat now.I even posted about it yesterday. The girls said it can be quite normal and probably my way of coping with it . I definitely want to do it no qualms about that . They have fluff etc dont they, thats where the unders come into their own isnt it? At least the pains gone , so thats great . It must be so weird to have boobs now? Are you knocking them? The cuddling etc... I think I am gonna find it weird .

I think I know where you are coming from with how you are feeling! I guess I wasn't actually that excited, even on the day! I'm sure once it is all done will you be smiling soooo much! It may well be your coping mechanism. Are you the same with other things too? Never as excited as you think you should be? Cos I am!
I have read though that not all boobies fluff up... So I just don't really know! I hope they do but knowing my luck they won't. I just want to be a D cup soooo bad!!
Yeah it is weird but oddly not as weird as you would think! They feel like mine so I'm very happy about that! I do miss cuddling, haven't had a proper cuddle since. And spooning, me and my boyfriend spoon every morning (It's kind of a ritual, lol) but haven't been able to so I miss that but it will all come back in time! I have knocked them a couple of times when brushing my hair but other than that not really... They are flat in my bra so It's not much different, lol!
Are you having unders too?

Re: Putting creams on boobies...
I also think it feels weird when I take the Macom off, like all the compression is released and your boobs feel horrible!! I asked my surgeon at my 1 week check if I could moisturise or use bio oil on the surrounding skin as I am paranoid about stretch marks (very prone) and the skin is so tight! She said I can use bio oil or moisturiser on the surrounding skin as long as I keep it away from my scars.

Yeah iit's weird... I think they feel like they aren't so much part of you when the Macom is off! I don't like to feel the implant, I'm not ready for that!
Cool thanks for the advice! I thought it would be ok but just needed to check. I can't stand the thought of stretch marks on the new boobies either! Let's make sure we cream up big time :smiler:

Re: Putting creams on boobies...
I am having dual plane unders 380cc , so exactly the same as you x I am not prone to stretch marks as didnt get one after putting on 4 stone when pregnant, but saying that , that was a while ago and your body can change so could happen. Not long now to go. That is why I keep asking you nosey questions Zebra 1984 . I think I am probably quite a bit older too so that could play a part in my recovery x Funny thing, yes I am like that if I worry , I just didnt think I WAS worrying, but obviously I must be. .Vitamin E oil is meant to be good for scars too..probably the same as BIO oil . I am moisturising for England at the minute .

Oooooh cool, well keep on asking if you want to I'm more than happy to share my experience with you!
It's natural to worry though, think we would be weird if we didn't worry, it's a major op and body change! I have bio oil and did use that with cocoa butter before my op. I don't really get stretch marks either but never say never! Keep on moisturising and hopefully you'll be just fine

Re: Putting creams on boobies...
Have you look through the stats ? They have all the before and after info of the ladies on here . It is an eye opener , some have had quite small cc's and ended up good sizes x Maybe I should've put that on your other post , but its very interesting .
