Hi, I had my OP on May18th 09, Altogether i had a lift, implant & nipple correction (phew) 1st i had 2 scars that kept weeping which have now dried & are scabbing, but my boobs have gone down somewhat:sad:, WWhen they were swollen post op i totally loved them due to the fact i had the magic loveheart cleavage, but my hubby has even commented that they should really be up a bit lol, when i stand up they are firm & sit nicely but since im not a fan of walking about naked that doesnt really help Bum Wiggle. also if i lift my bra strap they look saggy at the sides? & if i just sit for example with a vest top on they still look "down there" Im not sure if im expecting miracles but i feel like they are firm where implants are but all around the rest theyre saggy?? Im consideing asking my surgeon to either place larger implants or take away more of my own tissue (dont even know if thats possible?) What would you do? I just feel i've paid 7K n im still not happy! I want the cleavage Drool , gimme ur opinion girls please xxxx

Advice on RE-OP, what would you do? - Uplift Empty Re: Advice on RE-OP, what would you do? - Uplift

Post by kay 26th June 2009, 8:22 am

Hi x sorry to hear you are feeling this way x

I had my op 19th May so we are quite close together and I had the same as you x

Do you have any pictures posted on picturerail, that might help ladies on here?

My PS did tell / warn me not to expect really high boobs (a miracle) but that I would have a very "natural looking line" and an improvement. I thought they could only take away so much of the skin with a lift because if they take too much it would cause issues with you raising your arms and stretching......or something like that(?)

Mine seem to have dropped quite quickly but they are still loads better than pre op and for my age I think they are really pert now and natural looking which is what I wanted X

I just sat on the edge of the bed and noticed that I did look sort of "down there" but I think that is more to do with my bad posture (I'm a bit lazy and tend to hunch forwards if that makes sense) than anything else.

Hope this helps a little, pics would help though so we know what you mean x

Are you having a 6 week check? You could talk to your PS then maybe?

Hi,

I also had a lift and implants in feb, Im dissapointed with the shape of mine, i feel like they're too low, and ive got no shape at the top.

I did go back, and was told that because of the weight of my implants they wont ever be high, my nipples have also stretched, I'm going back in sept/oct to have them reduced.

Ive got some pics on picturetrail ill pm you my password x

Post by angelkitten1 12th July 2009, 8:54 am

hiya hunny i'm sorry to hear you are not happy with the results of your surgery, there is no worse feeling i have been there.
i never had a lift though so can't really advise much on that part.
one implant was placed slightly too much over to the left but i looked and felt like a freak for nearly a year.
mr kuna did my re op for me and i really couldn't be happier i love him lol.
i had mine done on the 23rd may and due to see him on the 17th july i guess you will be due to see him soon too for 8 week check?.
tell him how unhappy you are with the results hunny though like i said ive never had a lift so don't know if they can make them higher for you or not, did you have unders?
if you are still feeling like the surrounding skin is still saggy it sounds like he has given you unders, really overs would def be better i would think.
i hope you get it sorted and feel happier hunny.

Hi Kesall,

Ah sorry you are not happy and upset after your BA.

When are u next seeing your PS?

You definately need to express your concerns to him, take your hubby with you as support too. You paid alot of money so you want them to be right don't you.

Can I see your pics?

Hi, just took a look at your pics and I see what you mean, they are quite low and looks like the implant is all at the bottom. Did you have a lollipop lift? Your nipples look like they're pointing upwards quite a bit considering they are low so you may have bottomed out or maybe not enough skin was taken during the uplift.

I would definately call to see your ps and discuss these issues as your boobs should be a bit higher and you should have a bit more upper pole considering you've had an uplift.

Sending you hugs Hug keep us updated xxx

Post by kesall 14th July 2009, 2:50 pm

Hi, i had the anchor lift? is that the same as lollipop? Sorry im a novice at all the terms, my PS did say id never have model boobs but i agree with you i paid for an uplift & specified that i wanted the Killer cleavage" so im determined even if im a pain to get it. I find it rather odd as well the scars that have not been healing i think r due to the fact im STILL finding stitches underneath!? Im due back to see him on Aug 15th so im gonna write a list cos i get nervous when i see him & take a pic of what id like & see if he thinks its doable!! I so loved them when i was immediately post-op n i was crying cos i was so happy n now im devastated, so fingers crossed for me hon xx

I would take your OH or a friend if you feel nervous when you see him, so he doesnt dismiss you like alot of surgeons do. Stay assertive because i dont think something is right and you dont either so stick with it. I wrote a list of things to mention too.

Fingers crossed hun x

Hi, yeah im doing a list NOW Boobs ! I am taking my hub in with me as he'll know when i feel like giving up & hopefully help, i dont think he took enough of my skin away i also dont know if i have overs/unders or anything so im going to ask exactly what i have, i was so nervous & excited i think most of it went over my head!! I just remember always saying i want them firm, full & high!! He is a lovely man & im so impressed with the fact he has taken all my previous bad scarring away but the last time i went in he basically said which do u prefer these ones or your old ones (which i thought was a bit crappy considering the money i paid to get them!) I think the surgeons forget how hard we have to work & how long before we can afford to do it!! xsx

Post by sarahsbabies 14th July 2009, 5:29 pm

Hiya, just had a look and I can see why you're gutted. I would definately go back and demand something be done, I mean your nipple shouldn't stick out of your bra like that, its too high. It looks to me like you have overs, which is why I was ademant I didn't want overs as I was worried that the implant would sit at the bottom and leave me with no upper pole, like I had previously. I expect he gave you overs because you requested cleavage. My PS took some of my breast tissue away when he did my uplift, due to the fact that he said it would be quite heavy and the fact that one was bigger than the other. Thats a really unprofessional comment of your PS to say, you've paid £7k and I'm sure you were realistic about what to expect. I hope you manage to get something sorted, when are you seeing him next?

Exactly, confirm with him that you did have overs and get him to switch to unders as that will give you the upper pole fullness, not a bum cleavage though, take your pics with you aswell so you can be specific about what you're not happy with. Make sure you let us know how you get on Hug

Its Transform he is with, he's a good surgeon i dont think its really his fault i think its cos my skin is so stretchy with gaining 5 stone then losing it & 3 kids, tissue damage is not so good either x
