Sizes of bras
Hi girls
Getting a bit worried about bra sizes... I've bought belvia style bras for post op as instructed but have no idea re size so have gone for medium which is probably my frame (ribs etc)... As my surgeon won't tell me a size I'm getting quite anxious about all of this
Have a Pre admission appt with a nurse on Monday so I'm going to bring this all up...
Were you given sizing guidance and then after the surgical bra comes off how do you go about getting into a more supportive bra but getting the right size!! Sorry I'm waffling x

Re: Sizes of bras
The Belvia bra is a 'comfort' bra babe, so your surgeon mustn't want you to be wearing support. I don't know if you realise or not hun or if your surgeon has thought it through but these also go over head which you may find quite difficult early post-op.
For the Belvia you buy by your top size lovely. Xx

Re: Sizes of bras
Was the belvia recommended by your surgeon hun? Most women are asked to wear sports bras not comfort bras.
There are some fantastic post op bras out there if you have no idea about size. The Macom is great, you only need to measure around your band to get your size xx

Re: Sizes of bras
I was told to wear a sports bra post op until my first check-up - my PS did give me an indication of the size I should buy.
I would check with the nurse when you see her, like the others have said you won't be able to use a pull on bra for a bit.
