revision surgery through mybreast
hi ladies
i received a letter this morning regarding my app for revision at nuffield and although my surgery costs have been taken care of by mybreast I've been asked for my medical insurance to pay for my anaesthetic?? i dont have any insurance and kind of baffled to y i wud have to pay for this.mybreast paid for it on my first op so y am i not covered for my reop??waiting to hear from mybreast at the mo but can anyone help that has been in a similar situation?and how much roughly is the cost of anaesthetic??

It is very strange that you've been asked to cover this though.
Have you emailed asking for an explanation Natty? After all, you were told the revision was free and there was no mention of additional costs then. X

its all sorted now thanks cookie.i rang nuffield and said that i was a mybreast patient and that i was covered through them.phew now i can finally relax and just wait for my reop sort of :/ lol xxx

i know I'm starting to get excited to get it sorted but not looking forward to recovery at all.having 3 children and a hubby to look after haha.they will take good care of me hopefully xxx
