Hey girls,

Do any of you know what pain relief I am ok to take 4 days pre op?
Been told not allowed anything that thins blood so was planning to just avoid all of them but have just stood on a nail while sorting the bottom of our garden (we have an area at the very bottom of our garden that is almost wild, we only moved in a little while ago so decided to tackle to today) Anyway I have been the doctors and had all jabs needed but I forgot to ask what pain relief I can take, it slipped my mind, she told me to take asprin but obviously thats a no,no but am in pain so could do with something as can't walk.sad smile

 Thanks girls xx

As 5stonedown already said, stay away from ibuprofen and aspirin. When you get paracetamol just make sure that there isn't any aspirin in them because I bought some before my surgery and it had caffeine and aspirin in it!

Do you have any strong pain killers from you had your BA?

Generally you're given a weeks supply of pain killers to get you over the worst - Tramadol? Co-Codamol?

If not babe, unless you ask your GP for a prescription for stronger painkillers then its as 5stonedown said babe and its just paracetamol.

Big OUCH for your foot though. It must be agony. Its bad enough when you stand on a plug isn't it... So a nail!!!! Oooooo you poor thing Hug

Thank you girls.

Yeah its very painful, went very deep, typical just before my BA, at least it gives me something else to worry about before then.
I will try some paracetamol and hope that helps a bit, was just worried about taking anything, especially this close so thought I best ask you girls and your as helpful as always.
  thank you  xxxxxx
