1week check up feeling down Empty 1week check up feeling down

Had my first check up today, although all went well Im feeling a bit down this afternoon.. my boobs still look like rockets and theres a lots of brushing down the middle.. How long before they look  'normal' , guessing I'm becoming impatient! Also I'm not as big as I thought I would be is that normal feelings  too.... x

oh hun it will take a while yet, being patient is the most difficult bit!!

try taking pictures of your boobs regularly, it will help you see the changes x

Mine took weeks for the bruising to go and look kind of normal but they will get better there just still very new and can take upto 6mth-1yr to fully heal!
I personally found to not watch them too much as u can get over obsessed by them!
Just remember everyone's recovery is different.

Sounds like you've hit the post-op blues babe Hug 

Its not a nice feeling at all. You feel like crying but you don't know why, you start asking yourself "what have I done"? Everything seem to hurt more and bother you more...

Its all very normal lovely, but not nice at all to have to deal with at the time. Things do get better though babe and you'll be on the mend very soon.

Thanks girls, funny I did take some pics for the first time today, hopefully I will be able to see the changes.. 
The bruising is down my sturnam! I had my op last Monday.. 
Hi cookie yep sounds like post op blues!! Thanks for the thread, think I've had most of them over the last week! This forum is amazing, helps me no end xx thank you everyone xx:thanks:

Hey Lee :)

I've had a bit of a low day today too.  Just wanted to say "hello" and reassure you that you're not alone.

For me I am realllllly missing big bear hugs from my hubby.  My boobies are way too tender to be held close by him huh smiley .

I've attached all my spare comforting and cheery vibes (I hope they manage to cling on as this message hurtles through cyber-space).

 The majority of my bruising is down my sternum too hun. Hope you feel better soon Hug

Hiya Hun, I am having a lower time now, the build up and day and straight after is such exciting times it's bound to come crashing down at some point. I feel really vulnerable at the moment, and the recovery seems so very long! I am also thinking mine are going to end up small too. It's just a bit of an anti climax :-( it's an emotional roller coaster!!!

Sounds like a touch of the boobie blues Hun. It's not the nicest thing, but it does go.

As for the boobies, they will be changing all the time, but you just don't notice it. They will soon start looking like normal boobs. Although it can be 6 months to a year before you see your final result x
