Feeling nervous about my 3mth PS check Empty Feeling nervous about my 3mth PS check

Post by sugarplum_sassie 6th December 2011, 10:17 am

Got my 3mth check with my PS tomorrow, this is the first time I've seen my PS since the op and I'm really nervous because I'm not happy. I'm not a confrontational person but I'm really dissapointed with my results and am nervous about telling him and how he'll react and if I'll get what I want, which is a free re-op. It's mainly my lipo that I'm not happy with, nowhere near enough fat was removed and my thighs are now very lumpy, in one area it looks like nothing has changed! as for my boobs size is fine I'm just not entirely happy with the shape, I have tuberous breasts and it feels like my natural breast tissue just droops over the implant. I had anatomical overs, I questioned if extra work was needed because of the tuberous breasts and was reassured no it was not necessary. I haven't got obvious double bubble but I can tell where there is a line between my natural breast tissue and the implant and my right breast is very flat on top and the inner side (cleavage side) and I don't have much lower pole fullness either, my left breast has a better shape more rounded. Also my scars are sore because I can still feel the suture ends underneath my skin stabbing and on my left side still have a suture poking out which the nurse was unable to remove, after 3mths you would have thought they'd have dissolved by now and I'm wondering if I'll be told to give it more time or if they'll need to excise it??

Oh hun,

I'm sorry you're not happy and feeling nervous. But you have to tell him exactly how you're feeling. This is a major deal and something you have spent a lot of money on and should be feeling good by now. I'm surprised about the stitches, but perhaps other women on here have experienced similar?

Re the boobs, 3 months is still early days, so maybe they still need some time to adjust?

I don't know about lipo, but perhaps they removed all they could without causing you damage? Could it be that you set your expectations too high? Or were you told you would have a certain result and have not attained that?

Take a deep breath before you go in and be sure to raise all of these concerns. (get some Rescue Remedy from a pharmacy - it's great stuff!) xx

Thanks Opal, re: boobs, if that's how they are it's not the end of the world as they are a huge improvement on what they were and I know they could still change, but the lipo is a different story. I have seen before and after pics worse than me before and better than me after.

Also I feel I can still pinch alot of skin on my right boob (the one with the smaller implant) and am wondering if it should have had a bigger implant to fill it out more?Feeling nervous about my 3mth PS check 267328 maybe that would have made it less droopy??

I think I need to start writing some questions down as I know I'll just forget them when I'm in there.
