Numb tingling lips
Very weird one but just went for a walk to the shop and completely exhausted myself but have a weird numb kind of tingling feeling around my lips and chin and also my fingertips I think. Bit bizarre. Also have a headache and eyes feel very very heavy and achey inside - anyone else had this?

It actually feels like I've been to the dentist for a local and it's just wearing off?

Re: Numb tingling lips
I had this a day or 2 after my GA, scared the life out of me, I started to think I was having a stroke or something.
I can't remember how long it lasted but not more than a few hours, I was still pretty out of it from the GA.
Sorry I can't be more help. Just try to rest up but if you are worried see your GP x

Oh good glad it's a normal thing! I am too panicking about having some sort of stroke! Mines obviously just 3 days delayed!

Re: Numb tingling lips
Day 3 is generally the worst day of your recovery when the GA is leaving your system, the most of your swelling has kicked in and you generally can feel kinda crappy and just want to rest babe.
All very normal. Its so important to listen to your body and your body was literally screaming to you to GET SOME REST babe.
Take it easy hun. You may feel OK but its important to remember you have just had major surgery and need to allow time for your body to heal. Xx

Re: Numb tingling lips
Thanks cookie - i domreally welcome your fab advice ;)
I have got major anxiety today for some reason...no idea what about through? I'm never an anxious person and just assumed its after effects of the GA leaving? Very weird! Hoping all this fluid and weeing will be good for ridding it all and tomorrow will be better! On the plus side my boobie swelling has reduced :)
