My one week titty-versary :)
Hello
I'm one week post-op today
I marked it with a small dinner for my closest friends (the only people other than my immediate family that know I had surgery). It was a spontaneous decision this morning because I was feeling so well (having had a very lethargic and ache-filled day the previous day).
My best girlfriend rearranged her plans to attend - said she'd never been invited to a titty-versary party (one week or otherwise) and that "one must always try to embrace new experiences". Got to love her!!
I had a lovely, chilled out evening with my husband, my ex-husband (who is my best friend), his partner (whom I adore) and my best girlfriend (whose husband sadly couldn't make it). We ate curried steak, tandoori chicken, salad and wraps (well they ate wraps - I don't touch refined carbs as a rule because they are the devils' food ).
I have my first wound care appointment at midday tomorrow and I am soooo curious (if a little anxious) to see under the dressings.
I'll update when I get home.
Zoe xx

Ohh Zoe, the meal sounds lovely. I'm trying to get back on the wagon after stuffing my face with every carb to hand this past week (trying to block the nausea caused by the antibiotics).
I've also got my 1 week check tomorrow - looking forward to hearing how you're healing :-) xxx

Hey girl :)
Dinner was totally delicious (even if I say so myself)! Titty-versary is definitely something we girls should be celebrating. (Or boob-iversary for those who have consider they have boobs post surgery - for me I already had BOOBS - and some - and I now have titties :) )
Yep I lost weight through cutting the carbs - best thing I ever did
How are you feeling? I notice you are 5 days post surgery yourself.

Hey Sam :)
You poor love - nausea caused by anti-bs sounds pretty rubbish :( I hope you are feeling better now?
Probably best to get the anti-bs completed before you try to quit the carb; if you've been eating a lot of them trying to go cold turkey will likely induce more nausea.........
Good luck with your 1 week check (mine has been cancelled/postponed - I'm sitting here awaiting a call from the clinic).

Hey Eddy :)
You're approaching your one month titty-versary - a sure reason for a party if ever I heard one
I am, indeed, very fortunate to have my first husband as my best friend - although to be fair he always was my best friend. We were mates at college who ended up dating, who ended up pregnant, who ended up married..... When the marriage ended the only thing that really changed was we didn't live together anymore, and the once in a blue moon awkward sex stopped. I was then free to meet the love of my life (my now husband).
Thanks for your good wishes lovely :)

Hey Jennifer :)
Absolutely - you so must host your own titti-versary soiree. Had mine not have been so spontaneous I'd have had a lot of fun designing the invites........

How exciting :)
Dolan Park are unlikely to call you with your admission time until two days before. I too like to be super organised and not knowing my pick up time until Monday afternoon when I was having an op on Wednesday upped my anxiety!!
I hope you hear soon xxx
