Bandages after surgery?
I should probably know this but do they tape you up over and around the top of your boobs following surgery? Also have seen some 3day post op pics etc but transform have said to not remove my bra until my post op check at 10days?

Re: Bandages after surgery?
Your post-op instructions will be tailored for YOUR surgery. Just as others will have their instructions tailored to their own. So this is why you'll find differing dressing, advise and instruction.
Some women will be in a binder after surgery. Some will be in a compression bandage, some will have dressings just along the incisions only.
Some will be advised to wear no bra. Some a bra for 4 weeks, some 6 weeks and some 12.
What's important babe is that you follow the instruction given to YOU for your care.
In keeping your bra on for the first week you won't be disturbing your dressings or the wounds at all until the nurse does your first post-op check. X

Thanks cookie - so they'll tell me all of that after the op then? Just a bit confused reading boobie diaries with ladies having showers 3 days post op with just being careful with dressings rather than having to keep their bras on...the nurse told me to not remove my bra at all until post op but will see what consultant says after op I guess xx thanks Hun

It is crazy all the differing post op care. But just do what u are asked and u can't go wrong. I've got waterproof dressings and was made to shower whilst at hospital but sounds like this is pretty rare. Xxx
God sorry if I'm confusing ppl :-/ xxxx

I thought it was me! Ha ha!! Sorry. I'm afraid I think mr khan is a bandage man but I could be wrong on this.
It is mental all the different advice, things to do Pre op and post op! But we all get the same end result! A lovely pair of new boobies! Xxx

Yes, upon discharge you'll be given your recovery instructions, discharge notes for your GP and an emergency number.
So don't worry lovely. You'll be told exactly what is expected from you and anything that you aren't clear about before leaving the hospital, don't be afraid to ask so you're clear on everything hun. Xx

Excellent - that's good then cookie :) specialkj I have seen a review on mr khan saying they hate how he bandages - maybe I'll ask him to be as gentle as he can when he marks me? No too tight please mr Khan! Mind you that might be conclusive to them looking as good as everyone raves on about!
