developed cc. waiting to hear from mybreast!

I had an app with my ps last week and he diognosed cc in my left breast.the receptionist ssid she wud send my notes to mybreast and they will be in contact.she also said that I cud always ring back if I dont hear anything.how long do u think I should wait before I contact the clinic? I need to get things moving becsuse my left breast is really quite sore and tight!:(

Hi natty, I'm still pre BA but there's no harm in giving them a ring to see what's happening and to let them know your waiting!! Good luck on sorting it out though, I hope mybreast get in contact xx

I'd give it a week a lovely, so i think calling them now would be more than acceptable having given them a chance to speak to anybody that's needs involving in approving the surgery.

Really hope you get things sorted soon babe.

Not sure if you're aware or not, but sometimes when having a breast revised for CC or a rupture you have the opportunity to increase your breast implant size if you'd like to and have both breasts enlarged if this is what you want. The implant warranty will cover the implants and give you two of a bigger size free of charge if you'd like this.

If you didnt discuss this option during your consultation and its something you think you'd quite like to consider then before booking anything, I'd discuss this with your surgeon first. Xx

thanks for ur advice girls especially cookie.and no I wasnt aware that I cud go bigger not sure if I want to to be honest.i did have boob greed wen I first had them done but im perfectly happy with the size now xxxx

Just rang mcdiarmid clinic and they said they have emailed my breast and are waiting to hear from them.they also said I need to go back and sign sum forms?? Also will I have my revision surgery with james or will I have another surgeon? My mind goes blank and I forget to ask questions wen im at the app and dont wanna constantly be on the phone to them!! Lol thats why I love this forum xx

You should have your revision with James hun! I'm not sure what the forms would be for, maybe ask next time you speak to them xx

Yes definitely with James again! Hmm not sure what the forms are either, could be as simple as another medical history that's up to date... Let us know how you get on though xxx

You will have your revision with your original surgeon lovely. The only time you would be allocated another surgeon would be if your surgeon moved on from the clinic, but James is firmly rooted at MyBreast lol, so its James you see again :ok:

Not sure what the forms are they want you to come back and sign, so make sure you read them thoroughly babe so you not your not waivering the rest of your aftercare to have this revision.

Be thorough in reading though Natty.

Write all your questions down before you go for your appointment hun. This way, you'll have your bullet points right there in front of you and it may be a good idea to take someone with you for support also hun. They can also help read through anything they want you to sign and check that you aren't signing away your aftercare. Xxx

just went on mybreast website and requested a call back and within 5 mins they gave me a call! As soon as I mentioned that I need to talk to tracy about my revision surgery she wasnt availible and the receptionist said she will contact me shortly!! How come wen u first get ur boobs done they cant wait to get ur money and get u can in quick enough but if a problem occurs u feel fobbed off.i hope she does call me today.feeling really down :(

MyBreast aren't doing very right well now from what I'm reading in looking after those that have had surgery and need them most nope

Its a shame because their surgeons are amazing. The management just need to up their bloody game! growl

still havnt heard from my breast and I seem to be contacting them alot!!! Its so frustrating wen u need things sorted and they dont seem to wanna pull their finger out!! I didnt think that I wud feel this alone and that if I had a problem it wud be dealt wiv pretty sharpish.how wrong was I :((I know I still have u ladies! Xxx)
Im sure that it shudnt take a week to send a letter and an email?! Which is what tracy coppen said she was guna do last Wednesday!
And im not actually sure what this letter is that I have to sign? She also told me that the board meets once every 2 weeks to discuss revision surgery! If i go on any longer with my boob like this im gunna cry! Sum days it aches like mad! I just want it sorted already :(
Sorry to rant but I think ive bashed my hubbies ears in enough

That's great news I have just had surgery for cc and although straight after the op I was in a bad way the recovery wasn't as bad as my first op .

I didn't have a re-op for cc but coz mine were riding too high and he told me he had to remove a lot of the capsule while he was there.
I was in nowhere near as much pain as the first time xxxx
