Moisturising before BA
Hey Ladies
My BA is 3 weeks and 4 days away (not that I'm counting down the days lol) and I think it's time to start moisturising to avoid stretch marks, I have a few on my breasts already from when my milk came in when I had the kiddies so I know I'm prone to them. My question is do I have to use bio oil or palmers cocoa butter or can I use any type of moisturiser or body butte? Xx

Re: Moisturising before BA
Just to add, the ones I have are:
The body shop vanilla body butter
Soap and glory body butter
Boots almond extract body butter
Nivea moisturiser
Do you think one of these would do the job?

Anything that's going to put the moisture back into your skin is more than adequate babe, so the above are perfectly fine Xx

Re: Moisturising before BA
I got confused then! U changed ur pic!!!
I saw similar post and was mentioned that any good moisturiser would do the job. I'm similar time to u, think will start bio oiling 2 weeks before but maybe include my boob area in daily moisturising til then!! Xxx

Re: Moisturising before BA
I would guess that any moisturiser is better than nothing in order to try and keep skin soft... Atm I use dove or the Vaseline one, however I've nearly ran out so did but the palmers one because it was around 3/4 pound so a lot cheaper then the bio oil lol :). But good question and interested in the answers :) xx

Yes I've changed it to my pre BA pic now :-) I might start from now just to give them more moisture, I can't believe how close it is now

I was going to buy the palmers one too as its cheaper, I don't really want to spend a lot of money but then I remembered all the ones I've got upstairs so I'm going to use those now, save my money towards my new bras :

Ohh yer good idea, I'm throwing bras away here and there, I can't wait until after, I think we're going to need even more drawers with our new bras after the BA! Xx

Good thinking Jo.
You can go overboard buying all kinds in prep and after your surgery when most of it really isn't necessary.
Buying your new bras after your first fitting is he BEST bit as well
Re: Moisturising before BA
I can't wait for that bit
Bring on the bra shopping, I'm also saving for new tops in case my no longer fit xx
