Day 2 Post Op - midgiebites

Hi ladies.

Well I am now 2 days post op. Feel a bit yucky today, think I may have overdone it a bit yesterday. I am looking for a bit of reassurance too...

righty is a lot more swollen than the left. I know they are two separate ops and both react differently so this is pretty normal...right?? shrug

Ive updated my pic trail with todays pics and the difference is quite noticeable if anyone has a min to check?

I'd love to take a peek midgiebites. :) hope you rest today and try to recover. Did you go for rounds or anatomicals if you don't mind me asking? I'm thinking of going with nuffield/spire, all three surgeons I've seen so far only practice there. Take care xx

Take a look at a thread of mine when I was going through my recovery worrying about size difference [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The size over time did eventually even out and its VERY common for one breast to be larger than the other, the big boob is usually the one that suffered a little more trauma in surgery than the other... But the do catch up with one one another over time. Xx

Mine are the same Hun. My left has been bigger from day one but slightly less noticeable now. I'm hoping it settles down soon. How u feeling? Xx

Glad the thread helped girls.

Honestly... Early post-op for the majority of us our boobs are going to look nothing like we executed at all. They can be weird shaped, wonky, one bigger than the other, smaller than we though, bigger than we though..... But over time they change so much.

When they finally do reach their destination which takes MONTHS girls so you need patience, they will look nothing at all like what you have right now.

Hi midge, I'm still pre BA so havnt had the experience yet but if there's one thing I've learnt here it's that we all need to be patient afterwards and not stress out lol, easier said then done! I had a look at the pics and think you look fab and no different from other girls who have let me see their pics early on! :) rest up xx

If anyones got symmetrical boobs at 2days post, I would call them a liar! Its absolutely fine, like the girls say, its gonna take a while before they look like you want them too. At the moment, my lefty is very round and under my armpit, whereas righty is flatter on the pitside, but theyre central to my sternum, so im not worried theyve been placed wrong, its just the healing. Keep taking the pics, so you can see the changes over the next couple months

You girls are always reassuring, thank you. Thanks again Cookie. I told my surgeon about the size different a and he just smiled and said 'its only been two day's give your body chance' :-/ I felt a bit silly. I'm doing great now thank u :-) Can't wait for bra shopping. Xx

They look fine hun, at 2 days post op it is expected that they will look different. Think they are looking fab! Cheerleader

Don't worry midgibites! My left was higher, bigger and rounder than my right and is only just starting to change and I'm 2 weeks post op! xx

Hi, can I take a look at your photo's please? As everyone else has said I'm sure it won't take long for them to even out. But I know you must panic, I'll be exactly the same and I'll be on here asking for everyones advise post op. hope your feeling a little better tomorrow, don't overdo it, relax and watch a box set of something Thumbsup
