can anyone recommend a travel insurance company that is friendly and cheap for ba patients?

I can't recommend anywhere hun, but if you come across a good one do let me know. And no it's not a pre existing medical condition x

Re: ba friendly travel insurance
I don't actually know of anywhere that covers 'elective' surgery babe. Xx
Re: ba friendly travel insurance
Where are you going lovely, my surgeon said something on the lines that as I was going to Europe early in my recovery I should be fine but he said if I was going further afield such as America that's when it can be a little iffy! I'm thinking that's because any kind of medical care can cost a fortune there!

Re: ba friendly travel insurance
Aside from infection... There's nothing that can happen that would be deemed a 'medical emergency' regarding you BA, so I wouldn't worry about insurance for them babe.
In the unlikely event something were to happen whilst you were abroad ie: rupture, CC, bottoming out etc... There's nothing that can't wait until you get home and your aftercare should cover this if this were the case (if you're still covered) x

Lol, you can handle a broken arm. ;)
I would imagine normal insurance will be fine. Im sure You usually need to declare if you have had any surgery in a certain time scale, if it doesn't ask then there's nothing to declare! ;) Your not v early post BA and not in any immediate risk of anything happening, hope you have a great time and come back able to use both arms, haha. x

Re: ba friendly travel insurance
Lol littlewellies, most insurance companies don't insure under the influence of alcohol but you can always sober up before seeking medical advice, they can't prove otherwise then . I only know this because my hubby recently went on a stag do abroad and one of them fractured his wrist and damaged his ankle on the first night! Hubs took him to A and E the next day and got it sorted no probs!
Although it's probably the best idea to keep all bones in-tact!
