Consultation next month,need advise, any pics plz?

Hi, im new to this site and got the link from a friend at [link removed].com

I have my first consultation next month and i am pretty sure i know what i want but would be much appreciated if someone could show me some of their pics if they have these:

from a 34a to 34c/d 
unders or dual plane
moderate or high profile

I am a size 8/10 and 34a and have breastfed 2 beautiful boys,and have gone a little 'deflated' if thats the right word lol. Im looking to go bigger but i dont want that 'stuck on' look,nor do i want to look too droopy natural either.

Any advise of before after pics so i know what to expect with what ive asked for above would greatly help

As you are new here, not many girls will be willing to share pics with you just yet, as you can imagine a BA is a very personal thing. But if you continue to post on threads and meet other girls, I'm sure they would be willing.

I personally am 5ft 6, 8 st 11lb. I had very droopy boobs due to breast feeding. I had 325cc anatomical unders as recommended by my surgeon. I went from a 32 A to a 30/32 F.

As you're pre BA you might find the information we have in the 'Breast Augmentation Information' section of the forum of interest to you. Its filled with so much to help you better understand the procedure and to help yourself feel better prepared. Its full of a wealth of information lovely and of course the girls here are AMAZING and will help support you on your booby journey.

Some advise I'd give is not to have only one consultation, no matter how fabulous you think it is, always have at least two or three so you have other surgeons and surgery plans to compare. At least one consultation would be best with BAAPS member so you can see the difference in consultation style.

In the larger commercial clinics you'll be appointed a Patient Care Co-ordinator. Its important you know that these women have no medical experience and although some do give advise which they shouldn't regarding your surgery, you should be aware of that babe. They are employed as saleswomen. They're there to sell you a product, so the nicey nicey approach you'll receive is all a facade to help get you to sign on the dotted line. So take anything they say with a pinch of salt. The only advise you should take regarding your BA is from a surgeon only.

BAAPS surgeon have a more personal approach cutting out the middleman (the PCCs) and you will always deal directly with them. Xx

Im having a consultation with Mr Adamo. He came highly recommended. A 32f is massive, must have made such a difference to you.
I know I want silicone and im almost certain I want a d cup. Im just not sure how muxh difference high or medium profiles make? I guess my surgeon will tell me whats best for my frame.

The difference in profiles is the base width and the forward projection Becky. As you can see in the diagram below, the higher the profile the narrower the base width and the more forward projection you have

Can I have high profile without having that stuck on look?

Absolutely. I have high profiles babe and have a VERY natural result  xx

Profiles are based on your own breast width dimention. You can ask your surgeon what size yours is and this will be an indicator of which profile will 'fit' YOUR body type. Xx

So what gives that overall natural finish? Sorry for all the questions, just want to know exactly what it is im after lol x

I have extra high profile hun and mine don't look stuck on, nor do they look massive. Size is a personal perception. Helped along by the media! Such as Katie price and her D's,  she is most definatly much bigger than a D cup. The best thing you can do is take pictures to your consultation of the 'look' you want to achieve rather than worry about cup size x

It's just time hun. When the implant 'drops' into the pocket and gravity does its bit, you get the nice natural slope at the top of the breast and the fuller lower pole. There are some great explanations here, try typing drop and fluf into the search bar x I have a picture trail, you are more than welcome to have a peek, but bear in mind that it can take up to a year to see your final result. Although they usually say expect to see it at around the 6 month mark xx

To gain a natural result you need an implant that 'fits' your BDW. If you go too large you not also risk a higher rate of complication but also that stuck on look too.

A surgeon choosing the right placement for YOU will also help give you a natural result, be that partially under the muscle or over. Both given that they're right for you will give you a natural appearance. You be hard pushed here to actually know who had which placement because with either you can gain a natural result.

If you're VERY skinny you may want to discuss anatomical implants which if you're very skinny would lessen the risk of a skinny person being able to see the top of the implant. If you're not VERY skinny, then round implants are perfect. After healing they actually drop to an anatomical shape giving that nice natural slope.

The main reason women end up with a 'larger size' than expected isn't at all because the size/volume of the breast is larger, its all about our own perceptions of cup sizes.

If you look at the picture below what size would you think the bras are?

I suspect you'd imagine that as the bras gets bigger, the cup size gets bigger also.

The answer is that ALL these bras are the same cupsize. They are ALL a DD but with different 'band sizes'

Hard to get your head around isn't it, so when asking for a DD cup, you'll be imagining that its one of the larger bras in the picture, because we've been brain washed by the media who quote almost every big busted model in their magazines to have a DD which a large size when seeing their big boobs, so this is how our brain thinks, you 'think' your DDs should look just as big as the models. In reality, the models aren't a DD. this just sounds seemingly like the 'ideal size' so it makes them appealing to their readers.

When women have a BA, EARLY POST-OP you may read on forums such as ours that women feel their boobs are smaller than expected. This is because of their perception of size.

When they go for their fitting and get measured in E,F,FF etc.. They're actually amazed that this is what they measure and can't get their head around how they can be that size when in their mind their boobs look smaller than that.

You'll often read: "I measure an F for example and yet I look a D cup. Again...all down to perception.

Its impossible to look a D cup if you fill an F cup! If you fill it! You look it!

This is why going into consultations and discussing 'cup sizes' it can result in misunderstandings between surgeons and patients. Your perception of a D cup may be the biggest in the picture above and yet your surgeons perception may be somewhere in the middle so you're not thinking about the same size at all.

Taking a picture in to show your surgeon the 'look' you want rather than discussing the 'size' you want is a much better way to ensure you 'get' what you want!

Surgeons work in volume (CCs) not cup sizes, so being able to see what you want gives a surgeon a much clearer idea of how much volume would be required to give you the look you're hoping for. Xx

Just trying to show you Becky that although, because of the bra I'm wearing in my avi which makes my boobs look very full. Natually they're not at all.. Well they're not 'natural' but you know what I mean lol

Also am I right by saying that your implants dont look as big if there behind muscle? Im excited to try on the different sizes now :)

As a rule you lose about 10% of the implant if you have unders hun x

Its true in theory babe.... But, when our other Admin here Nads, changed from partials to overs her resulting size didnt change at all. So from her experience of having both... It didnt change the size of her resulting size at all putting paid to the 'theory'. If it were true, she would have increased by 10% and she didnt.

Resulting sizes are such an enigma Becky, so its best you focus soley on the 'look' you're hoping for whatever placement you're having. I wouldn't listen to theories if it were me... After seeing first hand that sometimes theories mean nothing, I'd lay ALL your focus on the look your wanting and trust the surgeon you want to do your BA to be able to give you that. Xx
