Re: how sore is a capsulotomy
I won't lie Tink... The capsulectomy was sore. But, nothing I couldn't cope with.
You'll be fine hun. Its a means to an end and not something I'd be concerned about to get your boobs where they need to be.
You won't have the muscle pain this time because that and your skin is already stretched, so the healing there will be far quicker than last time, but yes... The capsulectomy was uncomfortable. As you KNOW though babe, it does subside and you do get better.
Think positive babe and you'll do alright. Xx

Re: how sore is a capsulotomy
Its possible you may only need the muscle releasing... Or a pocket revision?
If your surgeon finds you do have CC it could result in a partial capsulectomy or a full one depending on as your surgeon has said what is going on inside which he can't tell right now until he actually gets in there and takes a look.
I should imagine your implants will be replaced with new ones Tink. Xx

Re: how sore is a capsulotomy
If you want bigger implants you should be able to get them for free hun IF the implants are being replaced.
If its something you're considering its worth discussing with your surgeon for sure. Xx

Re: how sore is a capsulotomy
Hi
I have just had revision surgery for cc and can say the pain when I woke from the op was pretty bad but after the initial for 3 days I can say the pain was no where near as bad as the first time and have made a speedy recovery . My arms never ached and boobies don't feel as hard as the first time , until I had my re op I hadn't realised that the pains I was having in by boobies was the cc no pain what so ever now .hope all goes well for you xxx

Re: how sore is a capsulotomy
You will feel sore on the side you've had the capsulectomy on babe I won't lie... How long it will take till the worst is for 'you' I don't know lovely. For 'me' it took 2 weeks till I was over the worst babe.
I always think that if you prepare for the worst, if its not as bad you thought then its a bonus babe.
The pain is nothing you won't be able to manage with pain killers though hun, so don't worry. Xx
