Hi ladies, haven't been on here for ages but all was going well post op until about 3 weeks ago when I started to get numb from nipple down on my left breast. All sensation had come back really early on but now 6 months along I've got this and I'm really worried as it almost feels like I've been injected with a local anaesthetic.
Has anyone experienced this as I would love to hear about it.
Thanks x

Its normal to experience numb patches on your breasts during recovery hun.

It can take a year or more before you're going to be fully healed so you're only at the half way mark just yet, so its early days to be worrying Shelly. Xx

Thank you I did wonder if I was panicking a bit early but as I'd got all feeling back I thought it was a bit strange. But it does make sense. Will keep an eye on it. X

I agree with cookie hun. I really wouldn't worry! The pains and sensations change throughout recovery x and numbness is something that can take a long time to sort itself out x
