Re: Who has or had numbness??
Hi Heather,
I'm still numb all over my boobs and I'm nearly 5 weeks post op.
Some ladies on here have said it can take a couple of months, even more before they could start feeling anything.
My nipples were a bit sore then the soreness subdued. Not they're just a bit sensitive but not that uber sensitive though.
I guess we all have to play the waiting game. I really can't wait to get the feeling back.

Re: Who has or had numbness??
WOW! You look a lot bigger than a DD heather!
The numbess can last for anything up to a year Heather.
I'm now 6 months post op and my left breast is still numb, no feeling in my nipple or over the top of my breast, but I'm not too worried, my 1 st BA I had numbness too and this was all resolved by 1 year post-op so I still have plenty of healing time. xxx

Re: Who has or had numbness??
I agree with cookie, they are going to end up bigger than a dd - they still look really high in the bra in your avatar and when that drops it will add a cup size I reckon!
I can also agree that the nmbness can last up to a year - my caesarean scar took about a year each time for me to regain normal sensation. xx

Re: Who has or had numbness??
i'm 8wks post op now from an uplift and re-aug, and all across my chest as well as most of my boobs is still totally numb!!
i reckon you'll definitely end up bigger than a DD, especially as you were barely a fortnight post op with unders.....the muscles wont have even started to relax yet, so i reckon you'll end up an E when they settle down

Re: Who has or had numbness??
I'm still a bit numb in the area of skin from my nipple to the crease. The nipples themselves are fine though. At a year post-op I don't think I'll get much more sensation back, but it doesn't bother me at all.

Re: Who has or had numbness??
At my 12 month post op check my ps said that the feeling will come back but it may take anything up to or more than 5 years!! He said that the fact I have "erotic sensation" (I blushed like a school girl when he said that ) meant that I would more than likely get the feeling back eventually. He said sometimes it happens so gradually you don't even notice. Mine are still numb from my nipple down.

Re: Who has or had numbness??
I also have "erotic sensation" lol, but not much feeling in my nipples or downwards towards the crease, although it has improved since my op slightly. What sally says has given me hope though as I doubt much will happen in the next few months but if I have 5 years then that's much better!
