Sports bra, maybe a couple of magazines! I made sure I packed a few bits for my sister who came with me, although the hospital were very good and even gave her dinner x

You wearing dressing gown home? If you need an outfit for on the way home get something that's loose and buttons or zips up x I wore leggings and a loose shirt on my way home x A few sports bras different sizes so you get the perfect size xxx I also had sweets for afterwards, i had the food they gave me but a sweet fix gave me some energy and perked me up a bit x You seem like you have everything of importance x just enjoy the build up x will be over before you know it x x x

Sports bra,
I pad, magazines,
your favourite sweets / biscuits to nibble when you come round,
an elastic hair and with no metal on it to tie hair back ,
Vasaline for dry lips,
a zip up hoodie or onesie for journey home,
a bottle of water Forjourney home, you'll be incredibly dehydrated and to quench thirst,
I'd personally not have your v pillow in hospital the beds are designed to keep you comftable use it for journey home only. S it's fresh for home
And that bout it I think x

No Lottie, I won't be wearing my dressing gown home! Lol! I have tracker bottoms and zip up hoodies for home time! I don't have any sports bras yet simply because when my surgery is done my surgeon provides a Macom bra which I will have to keep on for a week, so I thought it might be best to see which size he puts me in first before I go and buy more!

You probably won't need a v-pillow in hospital babe, I hardly used anything I took I had lots of mags and didnt read one because I was just drifting in and out of sleep I couldnt really concentrate so I watch tv instead!
Certainly front fastening pjs, snack, lip balm and toiletries!

I bought my night shirt from Primark today, although they didn't have too many left, like Daisydee said, they were nearly all PJ's which had to be pulled over the head.....Was only £7 though....bargain!

Re: Any advice on what to take to hospital?
I used the v pillow for journey home as the seatbelt is uncomfy!
Also a little tip try and wear slip on shoes - I wore trainers and bending down to put them on the next morning was hard!
Xx nail varnish remover is good at getting all the pen markings off the next morning too. Unless u don't mind waiting till u get home :-) xx

Re: Any advice on what to take to hospital?
I've already been warned about the shoe issue, so I've got my trusty flip flops (hope it's not raining when I'm discharged!!!)......I will definitely use the V-pillow for the journey though, my fella drives a little Smart car and you can feel EVERY bump in that car so anything to ease the pain of the two hour journey home will be a blessing!!!!! xxx
