6 week post op - Gym question!
Hey girls
Got my "6" week post op saturday (even though 7 weeks since had them done) I want to get back to the gym and theres a local boot camp I wanna go to.
Will I be able to? Or do I have to take it slow?
Been a bit moody the last couple of weeks as I want to get out and start running again but know I have to wait for the post op.
Any advice will be appreciated.
xx

Aren't boot camps a bit more hard core? Remember u took it very easy for 7 weeks, jumping straight into boot camp would be a but brave to say the least. I'd take it easy to start with and build up as u go. I nearly passed out on the crosstrainer yesterday after 17 minutes though I was giving it my all lol

the boot camp is only an hour session, so would be like going to a gym class I guess. Few friends have been going to them and seem pretty good. Just not sure whether I will be okay with it.
I've been out walking the dog for 2 hours every evening over the past 2 weeks to get out a bit more and de-stress.
I didn't realise how much I would miss working out! Never realised how much I enjoyed it haha

Oooh, ouch! I doubt it would be a good idea so soon after surgery. Plus, you wouldn't want to do anything to displace them or open your scars.
If you're worried, speak to your surgeon, but I'd be very careful about strenuous exercise so soon after surgery
