Re: July Buddies.
Woohoo Leanne!! How are you feeling??
I am currently feeling worry-free as I have spoken with my PCC who has spoken with my surgeon and he has agreed to try 410cc along with the planned 380cc to see which look best when in surgery! . I also bought some strong painkillers today for my PIP pain so hopefully should have a better night's sleep!

Aww well that's really good that you aren't nervous yet! My little girl was 12 months when I had my first BA and it was a lot easier when she was smaller than now they are old enough to ask questions! You will be ok

Has everyone with kiddies organised absolutely everything up front? School uniform, food in fridge/freezer, everything on calendar, house clean ..................? Or am I just a control freak?

Re: July Buddies.
Max - I am organising everything like you! It will be the school hols when I have my surgery and my mum is away, hubby can't have time off, and my dad has a fractured hip!! So I'm sorting the kids out into all sorts of holiday clubs and activities, making sure I have plenty of easy meals to make (micromeals) and the house is going to have a big tidy and clean - think I'll start soon because I could do with a bit of a clearout upstairs! So nope, not just you lol.
Each day that passes I have a mini celebration!! Lol

Re: July Buddies.
Good luck with your diets ladies, I'm sure you'll do fine :)
Thank you for mentioning that you're going to write down timings etc thats a great idea! I might have to pinch that idea for my OH
Glad to hear that I'm not the only one confused about sports bras! I have one macom and thats it for now. I have to stay in the bra that my surgeon gives me for the first week (in july?! I'm gonna smell fresh lol) so I am going to wait until next week to get my sports bras in.
Blondiebex - I spoke to GG yest, I was told that I will be given a bra size straight after my op. So they have asked that during the first week I get myself a sports bra in that size ready for my 1 week post op check up. They will then remove the surgeons bra and put me in the sports bra. They have said that it is best to wear the surgeons bra most of the time but obvs it will have to be washed. GG recommended the zip up M&S sports bra.
Of course he may tell you something different, but thought this may help you :)
Also did anyone spend ages in their pre-op? My appointment was at 11 and I left at 1!

Wow everyone's dates are creeping up so quickly! So excited for everyone! I am going to put some things in my bag this week because I think time is passing so fast that I won't feel ready otherwise!
I am debating whether or not to book into a hotel the night before as we have quite a journey to the hospital, anyone else doing this?

Re: July Buddies.
Oh my goodness, first one of us already tomorrow - how exciting.. Leannejkl are you ready for tomorrow? got everything you need?
Betterthantoast - I haven't even had a pre-op yet and nothing has been mentioned about it other than when I called to pay and asked if I would get to see GG before the op for a final discussion although by then I guess it will be too late.. They did say I would stay in my surgical bra until my post op check and they just advised that they have me written down for a 32C, I just got a shock absorber off Ebay which was new, but will see what size they advise and will go and buy a zip up one from Marks too as I don't think I could struggle with getting one over my head for the first few weeks after my check..
So i've been bio oiling up every night and have a list off stuff to buy hopefully tomorrow, I have just chased my Vpillow as this still hasn't arrived.. When will you start taking arnica? I have mine ready, should I start a week before and do you have to stop on the day, does anyone know?
pr1ncessmummy - I did consider a hotel as we will have to head into London at rush hour on the friday morning but the Clinic in London is in such an expensive area that I am going to have to train and tube it in and then my Dad will come and pick me and Mum up afterwards.. To park for 4 hours its £48... Like the BA hasn't been expensive enough (If you know what I mean)
Max1980 - like you I think my dreaded period will come too so that will be just lovely...
I can't believe we're all sooooo close now.... ekkkkkkkk

Re: July Buddies.
Wow that will be expensive!! I have found a hotel that will cost us £38 per night plus £5 parking and it's only 0.3 miles from the hospital so I think I might book that. I will be booking it for hubby on the Monday night anyway so we may as well stay the night before as well.
Bex - everyone should have a pre-op, maybe give them a call?

Re: July Buddies.
Hey, yeah ive been using bio oil special.k. Just putting it on once a day, its made a difference to my skin already after a couple of weeks, it just feels nicer. Ive got a few stretch marks on my breasts from breast feeding, the went up to and E cup from an A, so not surprised really. Im hoping the bio oil will help to minimise them but not too bothered really.
So im on Saturday, trying to keep my mind occupied but its not working, seems I can do all my jobs/emails/driving whilst thinking about breasts too ha ha!!! Feels like a different worry each day!

Re: July Buddies.
Eeeek it will be here before you know it Max!! I still have another 26 days of thinking about all things boob!
I will start on the bio-oil soon I think, although my boobs don't enjoy being touched, I do want them to be a bit prepared for stretching! Does it soak in quickly?
