Hi ladies. I am 6weeks po today and I am starting to think about bra shopping
I want to go to Bravissimo, I tried some bras on in M&S yesterday to check my size and I think the C was a little small and a D seemed comfy. Now the next question is do I wait a few more weeks rather than spend lots of money on them now if there are still changes to come?

I went to bravissimo at 6 weeks post op, I only bought 1 bra lol! I didn't want to spend loads as like you, still loads of changes to come. But you need to make sure your in the correct size. Bravissimo are fantastic, they are happy to help, even if you walk out with nothing! Wherever you decide to buy from, make sure your fitted properly hun, the last thing you want is to have spent all that money on boobs, only to wear the wrong size bra x good luck x

Hi Daisy, I couldn't wait and to be honest I find wires more comfy than sports bras. I am swapping between a non wired t shirt bra, my bravissimo bra and another wired bra from Debenhams. Trying to hold off buying more in case of changes but its hard so not convinced I won't be back in the shops soon.

Def get fitted to find your correct size. I never wore a small enough band before and although it feels snug now I realise my boobs are properly supported. Debenhams are doing £5 off a bra if you get fitted but I would recommend Bravissimo as first port of call. X

Thanks ladies. I found it so difficult trying bras on yesterday no knowing what size I am so I will certainly be getting measured properly so I know where to start!
I was mainly concerned that I would go there and be too small for their bras!
When u both went to bravissimo did u tell them u had a boob job, I am guessing they can tell by looking at you but just wondered if u mentioned it?

Hi Daisy , yes I did tell them. Decided to be upfront about it. To be honest it helped as some bras didn't fit in the nipple area due to my boobs being quite round! And I found Balconettes too uncomfortable at the moment as the wires bruised my sternam. Because she knew she tailored the selection for me.

Yeah I told them! I wanted to be upfront as different styles etc fit differently on augmented boobs, so soon post op! I didn't have any problems going back into wires, no discomfort at all x but everyone is different. Sometimes you have to work up to being able to wear them all day x
