Ok i promise i will try & skip through this rather than crawl then, i know i would feel a bit more in control & positive if i could just open up a bit more, i will do my best tomorrow because i know i have to report back so will talk to him about my smear & then the boobie situation & my fears, then if i get through that i will ring the Hospital and confirm these appointments.....phew...that was hard work just thinking about it all! I'm having a bottle of wine tomorrow night for sure!

Ok i took the advice & i've got somewhere, He asked how i was in myself about the whole BA situation & i just cried :oops: he offered medication but i said i'd wait to see how i feel after seeing the surgeon next week.
Anyway he also said it was odd for me to have received both appt's as NHS ops were usually performed at the other hospital not the private one so... i called her!!!

She was abrupt but polite with it so am feeling glad I rang, anyway, It was sent because if i preferred to pay i could go to that one rather than the NHS one, obviously i would prefer to pay but i havn't won the lotto as yet so guess i'll stick with the NHS one.

Maybe it will take a bit longer now having the ops, i will know more on the 25th so fingers crossed, they can't say no to me now for NHS to do it can they after he said i'd be entitled to it?? Will worry about that now! fingers crossed for me next week girls :ghug: xx

I am sure you are still entitled to having your op on the NHS, they were just giving you the option of whether you wanted to pay and have it done privately. They were prob trying to tempt you in to paying and going privately by offering such a quick op date. I am sure that you wont be waiting to long on the NHS hun though!!

You faced your fear today, over came it and dealt with it appropriately and look how it made you feel, you are stronger than you think hun and such a kind hearted person, we will continue to support you along your journey, nobody deserves this more than you do after all that has happened!!!!!

That is really good news hun. But yes totally understandable you feeling like you do. Just look past the op and think about the very long term and about how much happier you will be feeling once its all sorted out. It wont be long till your posting on here telling us all how well it went and finally flashing them off.

They do treat both private and NHS patients at private clinics sometimes. My friend had an operation on the NHS but had to go to a private hosp to have it done because the Surgeon does both private and NHS.
