Getting sidetracked just isn't good enough though. We all have things going on in our lives but if someone takes the time to share their pictures with you, you find the time to take a look, I'm sure anyone can find the time also to respond to the kindness shown.
There's absolutely no excuses for not getting back to women who take not only take the time to show you... They TRUST you! This is the reason they share with with you and to take that trust and say.... I got sidetracked. Just isn't good enough.
If you ask to see pictures then MAKE time and have the decency to respond. Xx

Ktwin I'm loving that your so worried about this you felt you should post 3 times hahahhaha :))) xxxx
I can honestly say that checking out all of your boobs has not only helped me through the start of my ba but also helped me to realise when things had gone wrong with my original op.
I'd just like to say thanks ladies. Xx
I've been part of this forum for 12 months now and I wouldn't swap a single minute , the support I've had here is fab and I love you all to bits xx
Yep I've welled up here!! Hahahha :)) xx

Here here Kxx =] you and Cazzy and loads of other ladies on this forum have always pulled me through with not only pictures but help, advice and support. I know i couldnt have done this without the help of all of you and the tuberous breast thing left me feeling very alone and isolated. I never told my family about my op, only my hubby knows but you ladies have been like family to me =] love you all muchly for all that you have done and to all the mods and admin that make this site a safe place for us to be <3 x

well Done cazzy... wish I had had the guts to post this!
I think its completely rude that I have happily offered to share my pics with newbies, something i felt strongly about because it helped me so much when i was pre b/a... with only about 50% returning a comment or even a thankyou x

As a 'new' newbie you may not have access to the PM facility and therefore you would have made the request ON THE FORUM therefore with having no access to the PM facility a reply on the forum where they 'requested' the pictures is all it takes.
If the pictures are offered - I myself was a newbie once and knew it wasn't a 'bad thing' to make a post to thank the someone who had helped me.
There really is no excuse.
Re: Picture trail etiquette - Please read!
Balamory its come round sooooo quick! I feel like postponing and taking the fee, just to give myself more time to get used to the idea. I remember weeks ago when i had time to think about it and now its here in 5 blimmin days! I feel so nervous and excited at the same time! I've never felt like this before, it feels like i'm going to have a heart attack aagghhh!!!
Haven't got anything ready, need to order my macom and my v pillow and get some new slippers for the hospital. Actually..... when you wear your slippers down to theatre, what happens when you go under, do they take your slippers back to your room?? Wouldn't want my lovely new slippers going walkies. xxx

Re: Picture trail etiquette - Please read!
Oh no i agree with the thank you on the thread but giving feedback on a thread the newbies would probably find iffy =]
Ktwin you will be fine hun! You really helped me pull through mine with getting nerves right before. It is normal and i cant explain the happiness that you feel wwen you wake up and it is all done! They take your slippers off for you when you are in theatre dont worry but you do walk down there in them, i just remember putting them on when i got up to go the loo but no idea how they got there haha. V pillows you can pick up in the supermarkets or Argos, i got mine from Dunelm Mill and loved it, so did the better half so he got one too to save fighting haha. As for sports bras i was so swollen at first the hubs went out to Tesco at 9.15 first night to get me a 40back cos the ones i got were 38 and im usually a 36. You will be fine tho Ktwin, these nerves are so natural but there really is no regrets x

Re: Picture trail etiquette - Please read!
Totally agree with this, it makes you feel rubbish when somebody doesn't even acknowledge the fact that you've shared these very personal pics with them.
I was happy to share mine after my op, as I'd found seeing other ladies pics so helpful before. But if they didn't reply at all, I'd feel kind of like they were just looking for a laugh or something... Not nice. x

Re: Picture trail etiquette - Please read!
Aww I didn't know I helped, I'm glad I did. x
I'm just scared they will turn out different to how I expect them to but then I look at other girls who have had Dr Singh and I am reassured and get excited, then I overthink again and get nervous. Just want it done now. He uses strapping so I'll be ok for the first week re sports bra but I am so confused about the different sizes and what size I may be that the Macom will be nice and easy and should(?) fit while swelling then when swelling has gone. I just want to bury my head in the sand until Saturday, the day after its done! Gaahhh. x

Omg friedeggs haha, can't have my lovely slippers going missing. The nurses will probs be eyeing them up when I get them out my bag since they will be so nice and purrty, abd then when I'm on my way to theatre, then probs swipe them when no ones looking, that would be just my luck lol! x

You wont honestly, you will savour every minute because it is all an experience =] yeah i think Macoms are probably the best and you can always stick a sanitary towel between your scars are bra band. Take comfort in the fact that you have done all your research and this is the person you trusted to do it =] i am so pleased i stuck with mine even tho there was so much worry over finding dates to suit us both. You really helped me to pull through and show me that my nerves shouldnt get the better of me because i had wanted it so long =] have a lot to thank you for =D x

Re: Picture trail etiquette - Please read!
cazzy hun you are so right, and great post!
its such a personal thing to share photos and massive to the girls who do, its so so helpful.
i've only seen a few ladies photos who have either had the same surgeon as i will, or a similar size to what i'm thinking about, and i think and hope that i have always said thank you and given feedback, as it felt like such a privilege and help that the girls gave me by allowing to have a look x
