tell me about fluff?
ok.. so I'm waiting for mine to drop of course, but tell me about the fluffing?!?! I'm guessing it's a kind of filling out, but that's just been an assumption and thought I'd ask directly!
I'm currently wearing a 32DD sports bra and if they get any smaller, I may get sad

Re: tell me about fluff?
I'm not sure do anatomicals 'fluff'? I'd be intersted to hear if any girls have?
My surgeon says what I've got now is pretty much my end result?! They have dropped/ settled though. I'm sure they won't get smaller!

Re: tell me about fluff?
We're all different and the dropping of implants will depend on our individual healing and can sometimes take up to six months!
The image below helps to better describe the process of dropping and fluffing:
Women with anatomicals do fluff too.
Not everyone does fluff though... Why, I don't know? But in my 3+ years I've been here I've known of only two women who haven't fluffed after fully dropping. X

Re: tell me about fluff?
Dropping can take a long while before implants actually settle into their final destination. Fluffing happens when they finally get there. Xx
Re: tell me about fluff?
ok Thanks Cookie, I hope I'll be able to tell the difference and soon lol

I heard that fluffing doesn't happen to women who have overs, is that true? X

Re: tell me about fluff?
That's a myth Mrs D! Thank goodness
I get this. And I can't wait for it now! But what is 'fluff' technically. Does anyone know? I mean what actually happens that makes them bigger? Does the tissue around them grow or something? Looking at that before and after drop and fluff thread with pics I shared again in April Buddies - what makes them that much bigger?!? x

Re: tell me about fluff?
I dont get what actually happens when you fluff either. Perhaps the skin/tissue relaxes a bit or something? x
Re: tell me about fluff?
The fluff bit also confuses me. I understand dropped, the stuff in the implant has to drop from gravity. But fluff? x

Re: tell me about fluff?
I think it's where everything relaxes as nikkinoo said so the implant gets its full projection x roll on drop and fluff times lol xx

Re: tell me about fluff?
Lisa's right.
Fluffing happens after all the settling, its the final part of the recovery aside from the continuance if softening and it happens after the skin and muscle if you have partials have all relaxed and the implant is no longer held tight and can settle into position with the gel naturally filling out the lower pole of the breast so it when the breast finally 'fills out' x

Nikki, did u have overs or unders? We're around the same stage but I can't c any dropping or fluffing... They've both softened up but nothing else . I'm not saying I'm worried or anything just impatient...
It's so exciting! I keep checking in the morning if anything has happened lol.
