Hi all,
im aware this might sound like a really silly question but does it matter if you happen to be on your period at the time of your BA?

No it makes no difference Hun x however if you are on your period on the day of your op, you won't be allowed to wear a tampon to theatre. X

Even wearing paper knickers you still need to wear a sanitary towel. your blushes are spared though because of the gown and they only ask that you remove the sleeves before falling asleep so you're fully covered and no need to worry. Xx

I was on my period, for my op, I wore a tampon, as long as you let them know it should be fine!

Obviously depends which clinic you use. Its very rare I read that women are allowed to wear tampons in theatre. I used Transform and they won't allow them there because of the risk of toxic shock syndrome. X
