I haven't told anyone other than my husband. As much as i love and am close to my mum she wouldn't understand and I would rather do without any input from her than grief, and my best friend would tell her sister and mum (which i don't want cos i'm quite close to her family too) and the others i just wouldn't trust. Sometimes it does feel lonely knowing that no-one else knows and that you won't get that support and good feeling about it, but it is good because you don't have to worry what people think or get abuse from them. Who was that consultation with friedeggs? Clearly he knows sod all =P a lot of ladies on here have anatomicals and that is also what i'm getting. You have just as much chance of getting capsular contracture as you have of the implant rotating x

aw no sorry to hear that fried eggs, dont worry tho all is not lost, plenty of other surgeons out there and i would imagine plenty of ladies who've had boobies before kiddies lol and doubt that you'd have to have a re-op after pregnancy, all depends on how they cope with it. hope you find a lovely surgeon you feel comfy with hunni xx

this is exactly how i felt, i love my best friend but i know she'd tell her mum or boyfriend thinking it was ok and then if they told someone that's how it gets about. easier to keep it to yourself although it would be nice to confide in someone other than my mum but then you cant beat the forum for support as everyone is in the same boat. a friend who knew but hadnt been through the procedure wouldnt be able to put ur mind at ease about scary square-shaped boobs and fluffing lol Telling a friend a gud idea or not? - Page 2 3965254117 xx

Haha that is very true. My mum just wouldn't understand and i knew if i told people i would have to justify why and tbh talking about the tuberous breast thing upsets me and i know everyone would be looking on google images to see what it was =[ x

aw bless im the same hun, only i have severe asymmetry not tuberous but i hate the thought of having to explain my wonky boob situation lol. one's a D the other is an A/B and i hate the thought of people thinking ive got some sort of deformity. i'd rather just get it corrected quietly and get on with things! since i lost a bit of weight ive started wearing padded bras more now so that by the time i have the op, it wont be so much of a shock coz people will already think ive got a decent sized pair of boobies! xx

Same =] everybody always asks my cup size (which is a 36B) and i always say 36D cos of the 2x cup size bras and people always tell me I need to go and get measured cos i look bigger. Long story short i'm hoping that when i get mine done they will look the same as what i do with those big bras on.

Bless you lumpybumpy, i'm sure that they will fix the asymmetry as best they can for you lovely x x x x

i hope so too and i hope you get your tuberous boobs sorted as well hun! im sure its very common and that your surgeon knows exactly what to do. i think its always an extra worry when they are correcting something instead of just going from a standard cup size to a bigger size, im not expecting a miracle as i know there'll still be a degree of asymmetry but i just hope it can be improved and the breasts will just look more appealing! xx

I think the ps must laugh their heads off when we say things like "I want bigger boobs, I also want it to look like I haven't asked you for bigger boobs" - come on, you have to laugh too Hysterical

Enjoy your life. Tell people and expect to see some of who they really are lurking beneath the surface. It's ok. You have no control over people's thoughts - you can only really control how you react.

Here's my advice for that reaction: tits up to the sky - live a good life.

I have a lovely group of friends who all have big natural boobs. Although they all hate them out of their bras saying they r too saggy!! They talk constantly about how much they love them on show on a night out and then often remark on my polos. I make as much fun out of myself as its always easier to laugh at ureself even though I am so insecure about my bust. Because of this there is no way I will b telling any of them. I am gonna say I have found the best push uo bras ever which make my polos look like a whole packet lol x
