Re: June Buddies
I got a white chest band given to me and you only have to wear it for like a week until you see the nurse I think.
Vix and hangle so close for you both now :) may your day be as pleasurable as mine was yesterday xx

Re: June Buddies
Thank you kitty, how are you feeling this morning?
Vix bet you can't wait to spend them! I've been looking at bikinis :) I'm feeling excited but now and again get a bit nervous. I'm worried its all going to get to me on the day, have had a stressful few weeks so just hope I don't get to theatre and start crying! Xx

Re: June Buddies
I'm feeling ok thankyou but sore and stuff but some of the swelling has gone down since last night they look great.
Try not to worry about theatre and it would be ok if you were to cry I'm sure they have probably had it before.
Ladies on here gave me the best advise to keep my mind on the outcome so when I walked into the theatre room it was a bit strange and nerve racking but I just kept thinking as soon as they put me to sleep it will all be over and I will have great boobs. I was out like a light and sure enough have great boobs on the other side.
Make it your day and one to remember and enjoy it xxx

Re: June Buddies
Hi All! Many congrats for all you post op! Hubby's been keeping me away from the internet so I didnt spend all week online shopping! Back to work again this morning (though working from home), and its exhausting!
Blue, I woke up with a band on, and then they gave me another one in my discharge pack, so I could wash one wear one. I think you have to wear them for longer if they go under to stop them ending up under your chin! Ive been told 6wks band, 8wks bra, then they should be all done by August, woo!
Still really achy, and coughing is my nemesis, so been sucking on strepsils all week! Got my first post op this afternoon to get the dressings off, so fingers crossed I'll be allowed to shower tonight!

Re: June Buddies
So badly want a shower! I've been going to the local barbers to get my hair washed during the week!
The strap is chafing hardcore! But i can see why its needed. Ive got full unders, so i guess its to keep them in place and try and mould them into a more natural shape which im after. Im sure it'll be worth it in the long run. it does feel super constricted, but the support does help. Changing everything yesterday, they felt SO heavy, I had to have a little sit down!

Re: June Buddies
definitely worth it in the long run, just focus on how you're going to look when you're fully healed. I hope they're not too heavy for you. I'm going for 375 so I hope I can manage them! lol xx

Re: June Buddies
Haha! My surgeon was looking at 375s for me as an upper max, but made the decision during the surgery according to the space he could make. I think the weight is just an initial shock to the system, as soon as i get back to exercising im sure they'll be fine!

Re: June Buddies
do you mind me asking how tall you are chick? like you say, your body has to adjust and so it will be a shock initially compared with what you had before xx

Re: June Buddies
no haven't packed yet. I called the hospital today and I'm first on the list although that's not until half one which is annoying and that's because he is only doing afternoon surgery on my day. oh well. Hopefully I won't be in over night! You're so organised. Need to start looking at what to take! xx

Re: June Buddies
That's good that your first on the list. Think my surgeon is the same, I have to get to the hospital at 12.30 so will be first one to to go down in the afternoon. Vix are you having unders or overs? Xx

Re: June Buddies
I'm having overs chick. we're having a very similar size, are you over too? I was hoping to go earlier but if that's the best they can offer that's fine. And on the plus side, the nurse said I could eat breakfast up til eight so I won't be too hungry!:) xx
