Re: June Buddies
I'm on the 24th June Vix, 5 days after yours so we'll be counting down together! I really can't wait. Me too, I didn't know anyone that had a BA before, this forum has been brilliant. All the topics on here pretty much covers every question that we may have! How long ago did you book? xx

Re: June Buddies
Hello ladies!
I'm so sad, have been out all day but all I kept on thinking was 'when am I gonna a sec to check my boob buddies?!!' - this site is so addictive! :-)
Vix, I booked just two weeks ago and the wait is already driving me nuts, I asked as I wondered if the wait was driving you nuts too!!
Hangle, read your other post, just wanted to add don't let anyone else's judgement affect you or make you feel uncomfortable. This is your decision and yours alone, anyone who cares about you will understand that if it makes you feel better and more confident, then you should absolutely do it! I would ask whether your OH's mum wears make up and dyes her hair/has her hair done, does this make her feel better about herself? Yes having surgery is a whole different scale but it's the same point in terms of changing your appearance to feel better about yourself. And financially, you've saved hard, and it's entirely your choice how you spend it! I hope they have enough respect for your privacy not to bring it up and if they do, I hope it will be to support you! In the meantime, I'm totally excited for us all, in just over a month's time, we'll all be owners of super new boobies! How cool is that!! xxx

if you click on my ticker for example, it will take you to the site where you can create one really easily, when you're done the site will create a link for you.
copy & paste this link into your signature here, under the add hyperlink option or something like that.. its pretty easy :)

Re: June Buddies
Thanks eddy :) everyone's response has been so helpful, I don't really have anyone to talk to about all of this, so having this forum has been a godsend!
I've become obsessed with boobs too! I can't wait until can buy bras and bikinis & not have to worry about padding etc! Also having really strange dreams about them too. Think I'm going to set up a ticker later :)

Re: June Buddies
Hey g! Sorry for late reply, have been away with work! I've been told to take Vit C and Arnica ahead of surgery but having searched on here it does seem to vary by surgeon/clinic! I'm gonna double check with my surgeon, prob best to check with yours, see what they recommend? Sorry, I thought it was standard but it appears not! :-) xx Blue I already have the ticker up on my phone as an app! Have tried to move it to my signature but it's not playing!! :-) x

Re: June Buddies
Thank you blue - will get onto that now! :P
I also have another sizing appointment on 20th May for some final decisions but edging towards the 300cc which i tried on at my first sizing appointment. Such a difficult choice.
Eddy - I hadn't been advised of any vitamins as of yet, although i did read on here that you should stop them 4 weeks prior to surgery... I stopped my pill a while ago too, as this apparently increases the risk of DVT. My own surgeon didn't say this specifically, but my sisters surgeon told her to come off hers! So didn't want to take any risks..

Re: June Buddies
Very exciting! :) First summer with boobies.
Hmm, i suppose its down to the surgeons preference but i would have assumed they would have pretty standard rules regarding vitamins etc. But your surgeon knows best for you! :)
I haven't really anything else prepped. I got a few sports bras (couldn't resist!) and have made my rice boobies just to test sizes. Other than that , i haven't organised much else other than time off work! Have you? xx
