i still need to buy my sports bras but going to hold off until i see my ps for final sizing appointment to ask about swelling / cup sizes etc.

and i think i'm going to buy some anti itch cream against that itch/ sunburn feeling that some girls talk about..

i need to be really prepared early on cos in the last week in the run up to by BA i'll be away working abroad, get back late on 19th and my BA is on 21st!! so all i'll be doing then is prepping my room :)

So exciting blue! Ive bought a few sports bras all in the same size but might buy one slightly bigger just incase!:-)
What size are u hoping to go for? Your op will fly in especially with a busy run up to it. I have uni exams until end of may so hoping that will help pass the time!! Xxx

i know i'm going to be soo busy in the run up to it, so trying to be super organised in advance!!

going to get a macom definitely, and might just get a sports bra in my 'new' size as wel but i bought some cheap bra extenders on ebay so if my swelling is on the back etc i could make the bra fit early on and also later!

your exams will def help pass the time, just try and focus on them instead of boobies :) x

the time is flying by already and when you have something else to focus on that'll make it even quicker.
Blue. good on you for getting yourself organised early sounds like your going to be really busy in the lead up and you'll be getting back as I go in for mine! ! when are you going for sizing?

Im hoping for a nice full C cup too! I was advised to go with the 300cc anatomicals for the most natural look. I have a very small frame 11.5bwd and a 32aa:-) will be interesting to see what ur surgeon reccomends. I have booked another sizing appt for the 20th just to make fonal decision before op :-)

Trying to focus on exams but the prospect of new boobies is very distracting :p

hey g, my bwd is 11.25 and i currently wear a 36A though have recently learned my back is actually a 34, and i also doubt its a full A cup lol, more like AA too!
when i saw my surgeon for the first appointment he recommended i try on 255, 295 and 340 (basically all the implants with my bwd!).

i have since made rice sizers and tried them on a good few times, and i definitely like the 255 best. am now scared though that they'll take me to more than a C! i'd rather be on the smaller side than the larger side of the C cup, just personal preference.
also need to discuss shape and my frame etc etc, so i may go for an implant which has a slightly smaller width than my bwd?
so many open questions, which is why i am going back to question him!! :)

vix- yeah bra extenders sound like a good trick to me, as long as we're not too swollen around the cups and back!! x

Very similar stats to me then! I also wear an A but i know im definitely an aa as the cup sizes sometimes go a little gapey at the front.

I also tried on all of the same sizes as yourself, im having anatomical unders though so very conscious of loosing 10% of the size. At my sizing appt o was set on 280cc but going back this month and will prob choose 300 after a few girls recommending to go for the slightly bigger size. Are u having unders/overs and anatomical/round?:) xx

I feel the same, ideally i dont want any bigger than a C - the 280 fitted nicely in my sports bra.:-)

g, mine are gapey too, i know the feeling!

i'm having unders (well partials would be the correct name) and having rounds. i've heard a lot about losing the 10% but its not an exact science so am conscious of how it would look if i didn't lose the 10%! ;)

I've taken my 255 rice sizers to m&s and tried some nice 34C bras on with the sizers in lol but they were nearly too big for the C cup, that's what got me a bit worried, so will be discussing with my ps!

also think i might prefer full profile as opposed to moderate, but the full profile in my bwd is 265 and that would def be too big for i think so am all confused as to how close to your bwd you have to stay!

i'd rather go for the slightly smaller size personally, i think you can always create cleavage and dress them up and down as you want, but once the big ones are there, they're there! ;) also thinking of the bigger the implant, the more the risks in theory, though of course 20cc here or there is not much.

but still, such a massive decision!! x

its a horrible feeling so I'm really hoping to get a full cup size when my ba. nothing worse than trying to find a bra and not getting one to fit.

Thats a good way to think about it! lol And really? what way do u measure ur rice sizers? I tried 300cc in my M&S 32C sports bra and they seemed to be a perfect fit. Definitely take advice of ur surgeon though they know best! :)

the 255 and 265 will have minimal difference hun nothing you would notice.. my surgeon said the difference between a 280 and 300 was about 4 teaspoons!

My sister had something in the region of 250/260 (not sure which) rounds and she is either a 32C or a 34B depending on where she buys her bras. She her years done a few years ago and they look fab! Very natural.

With going with the anatomicals i think you tend to loose some of the size.. I'm not sure if i would be more upset if they were too small or if they were too big lol so just going with all the advice my surgeon can give me ... so i can have someone else to blame :p just kidding lol

Blue you mention you want some narrower than your bwd have you asked about the extra high profiles they are narrower implants and more projection! I wanted them before because I thought it meant more upper boob fullness but my surgeon said they had more projection but not upper pole (boob) fullness just a thought for you ladies xx

Im worried that my surgon never really mentioned pronection to me?

Im having the anatomicals..so im not even sure if they come in dofferent projections! Might give him a call tomorrow xx

halo, yes i looked at the xtra full projections but even the narrower ones then have quite a few more cc's so am not sure...

g, your sister's measurements sound good to me, i think thats kind of the region i'm aiming for but really want to discuss look as well as pure size with my ps, as i want to keep my slim upper body look and don't want any sideboob... so much to think about! x

your surgeon should b able to answer all your questions and put your mindat rest with sizing decisions etc. I don't think you can ask too many questions, it's such a massive decision.
g, like you, my ps didn't mention projection either, but I think that's because he knows what I want and has chosen the implant type to fit my body best and to get the results i want. I've put a lot of trust in him.
It's also worth asking to see pictures of previous operations he has done to give confidence in his work? xx

Thats one thing i wasnt shown his before and afters he showed me some online but i dont think it was his work?? xx

Hey girls, just curious has anyone asked about the sedative? I told my surgeon about my phobia of needles and also wrote about it on the medical/info form they hospital sent me but can't help thinking that I'm going to be a bag of nerves when it comes to walking to the theatre.

The wait is getting to me now, such an impatient person! Went to victoria secrets in London over the weekend & walked away empty handed- can't wait until the day can buy some nice padding free bras lol x

Don't worry it's always imagined much worse than it is, my friend was so scared she was actually crying beforehand but afterwards she said I don't know why I was so scared I would do that again!! Xx
