All done but can't sleep :(
So had my BA yesterday which went well. My boobs are very tight, skin stretched and sore which I believe is very normal? How many days does this stay around for?
Really struggling to sleep on my back... Only slept about an hour since surgery so been awake all night! Arghhhh xx
Ps... Love my boobs though

Have u got a v pillow hunni?
I heard one of the girls on here had constructed a pillow castle and that helped to prop her up.
I found a rolled up towel at the bottom of my back helped too.
It's not goin to last long babe promise xxxx
You will feel tight but it won't last too long xxxx

Yea I got mountain of pills and v pillow. So used to sleeping on front it will take a while to get used to. Luckily I have a week off work to recover and catch up on sleep haha.
Got to expect some discomfort and sleep disturbance after surgery though I guess!!
So happy with results...never imagined I would feel so amazing so soon after!! Xxx

I am a tummy sleeper & have been practicing sleeping on my back for a week or so in prep for surgery next week. Bit nutty, but I know sleep & healing go well together so thought I'd crack it beforehand. It only took a couple of nights to get the new habit started. It's probably easier for you that you literally can't roll on to your tum though! I was waking & using all the willpower in the world trying to imagine boobs were there

Take some sleeping tablets.. I've given the go to take them at the start. You heal when your sleeping plus I can't cope not sleeping. I'll be a miserable cow lol

Re: All done but can't sleep :(
The first 3 days are generally the worst lovely, then after a week there 'generally' comes a turning point when we mostly all start to feel more like our old self and start on getting back to normality.
The stretched, tightness and soreness is completely normal hun. If you're in hospital do ask for ice packs - they work wonders!
If you're at home and don't have any ice packs to hand then grab a bag of frozen peas/corn/rice or anything small that you can place over the tops of your boobs. This will give you MASSIVE relief hun.
Congrats on the new boobies and welcome to Boobsville!

Thanks everyone.
I've just got a bag of peas of them now... Your a genius its working miracles haha.
I can't believe how much confidence I already have since having them done, I can't stop staring. I wasn't small before but hated the shape and look outside of a bra but now I am actually in love with them haha xx

Re: All done but can't sleep :(
The sleeping part is what worried me most... I knew I would be in pain and I knew I wouldn't be comfortable but the sleeping part was worrying me as no matter how hard I tried I couldn't lay on my back. But with hardly any sleep for 48 hours its true what they say... You'll sleep in any position haha. I was half on my side with pillow between my legs and my v pillow last night and slept like a baby!
You excited for your BA? X x
