Mine are neat and red too- my ps said that within a year they would be silvery and thin, so I suppose any time before that?

Re: When did your scars fade?
It'll take a year or more sweetness till your scars fade to a fine line. Xx
Re: When did your scars fade?
Mine probably took about 10 months to fade, but they got worse and darker first between about 2 to 5 months. x

It takes over a year until they fade to a silvery/white/pale pink x

Re: When did your scars fade?
Mine looked awfull, long 5cm+,not straight and really bumpy looking! now you can hardly see them, they've faded well, much to my surprise that is cos they looked so bad in the begining.

If they are visible you should cover them up hun.
They shouldn't be, the scars sit in the breast crease and shouldn't be seen, but if you're laying back in the sun you should very much cover any new scars until they've had at a year to mature due to the risk of pigmentation (going brown) caused by the sun. X
