Incisions stinging
Has anyone else experienced this? And how long does it usually last for? My right boob is fine but the incision on my left boob is really stinging! I'm worried that the compression bandage is making it worse as it kind of digs into my skin.x

Re: Incisions stinging
Its just the skin starting to knit together now hun and the nerve endings healing. They give really strange sensations and can sting just as you suggest. Nothing to worry about babe, it should ease up in a day or two. Xx

Not really. I really want to remove the bandage as well cos it feels tighter and tighter. Just going to have to grin and bare it until Friday I guess. Thanks for asking Nikki x

You poor thiong. I was thinking of you today. I can cope with most pain types but I think stinging is the worst. Keep your chin up babe x

They can sting babe and sometimes you get what feels like a wee electric shock don't worry though. It's just your lovely booties healing xxx

Re: Incisions stinging
It's the swelling Hun, try ice packs on your boobs, not near insions and over a t shirt. It'll help reduce swelling and instant pain relief. X

Re: Incisions stinging
Remember not to put any ice packs near your incisions as mrsball said though hun, the cold would restrict the blood flow, so just place them over the tops of your boobs hun.
If the band is so tight its hurting to the point you cant bare it at any time babe then maybe call your clinic and ask them for advise. X
