Re: Has anybody has natrelle's?
I'd heard Movita, even asked about them on here but my coordinated recommended Natrelles and never gave me the option of others. I wouldn't worry babe, I'm very confident in my surgeon and implants and I'm sure it's just down to individual surgeons. Would love some more options on this tho xx

Re: Has anybody has natrelle's?
I went with THG last year and at the time, Natrelles were the Premium brand they were offering. It may have been the same when Sharon go her op too. But don't forget - they are a business first and foremost. If Motiva have gotten in there and offered a better deal to them on their implants, of course they are going to recommend them. Now, Im not saying this is true, but it was the first thing to come to my mind.
Natrelles are still a premium brand. Yes, there is theory that 100% fill reduces CC further than a 95% fill...but Natrelles also come in a 100%, so it kinda negates that point. Plus some people prefer the 95% because its a wee bit squishier.
I think this does need some further research, and I will definitely bring it up with my surgeon at the end of Sept when I go back to see him. But either way, both implants are fine, just a different brand name.

Re: Has anybody has natrelle's?
Will be interesting to see what comes of this. I too have Natrelle inspira implants and at time of op at a Spire hospital these were what all the surgeons there were using for their BA's at no extra cost.
I like Charli was initially thinking it may be that they have made a deal on the motiva implants & will be interested to see what her surgeon says at her upcoming appointment since he is with THG too, also there are some very recent ops done at THG with a different surgeon still using natrelle implants, confused! ...lol x

Re: Has anybody has natrelle's?
Maybe it is a supplier thing, I am paying extra for the Motiva implants so maybe this is why I was told that Natrelles are having such high encapsulation rates. Although I'd already paid for these before I was told about the Natrelles, so it's not as if they were trying to sell. I am in for the op Saturday so will having lots of contact between now and then and of corse I will share any findings! Xx

Re: Has anybody has natrelle's?
You pay extra for the Natrelles too, I think they were about £500 more than the CUIs, which for me was a no brainer as I got extended (well, slightly more) aftercare with them. I'm not in til 25 Sept, but I'll report back my findings!

Re: Has anybody has natrelle's?
I would take it with a pinch of salt....just 1 surgeons opinion and if it were to be the case there would be research papers published on it. Hearsay or perception maybe, definitely not scientific, never a good thing in science/medicine!

Re: Has anybody has natrelle's?
eek! I had natrelles 6 weeks ago, so yes very much still in use. I get the impression my surgeon is fairly picky about implants so I'm not too worried, but that's still never great to hear.

Re: Has anybody has natrelle's?
I think there are too many people with Natrelles for me not to believe they are no longer in use, it just doesn't add up! Worried now why I have been told that xx

Re: Has anybody has natrelle's?
Natrelle's are very much in use and are a fantastic premium implant used by lots of clinics, surgeons and private hospitals and companies. Motiva are new and personally I prefer something more tried and tested. THG have probably been offered a cheaper deal on the Motiva so they have to recommend those first. x
