Post Op Bra's ..? HELP PLEASE
Hi Ladies,
I'm booked in for 370 unders on the 22/3. I have a week off then its back to the grind.
I travel a lot (Europe/US) and understand I need to be careful. The sports bra saga is ok under blouse/suit but I have a thing on 17 April which requires black tie/cocktail dress.
I am working on a couple of assumptions:
1 - I won't really change in dress size just bra size .... ooeer
2 - It will be fine to slip of the double stitched boil in the bag bra for an evening and wear something with slim straps (or nothing at all).
Be interested in any tips/advice from those who have been there.
Stats - 5'7", 9stone, size 10. 34b (smaller scale of the spectrum) hoping for 34D.
Cheers x

Re: Post Op Bra's ..? HELP PLEASE
Hi, I found that some fitted dresses didn't fit anymore, but most clothes and things with a bit of stretch are fine.
I wouldn't have been comfortable with no sports bra for a whole night at 3 weeks post op, so it might be good idea to look for dresses that would cover a sports bra... Sorry. It will totally depend on your personal rate of healing.
Good luck, not long to go! x

I doubt very much you'll be able to go braless at 3 weeks post op Hun. Most of us are in sports bras for 6-12 weeks.
You don't want to compromise your healing by going against your aftercare. If anything it an make it void.
I'm afraid you'll have to find something that maybe covers it a shawl or shrug?
And yes a week off is great , but just be aware you won't be able to carry luggage, bags or anything. And getting bak to the grind a week postop may sound good in theory but a week is still extremely early and at 1-2 weeks just being able to drive again and feel half normal (ish) x
