Drains
My surgeon mentioned about drains and how they sometimes use them and they will be removed after surgery. I'm not good with pain or needles (tryiny to overcomes this fear for the sake of new boobs!) But just so I am prepared I assume these drains come out while u are awake, do they hurt? And also I assume they stitch up the hole while ur awake too, does this hurt lots too? Make me feel yukky thinking about it!!

Re: Drains
Hiya hun
I had drains and mine weren't painful when they removed them. yes you are awake when they remove them but they are tiny tube that they just pull out slowly. its a bit of a weird feeling but wasn't painful and the whole is so tiny it doesn't need stitches, it will close itself. my holes were covered by the gauze strips that were covering my incisions so didn't see anything for 10th days. you can't even see where they were now so that's how small the holes are so you should be fine hun.
Hope that helps Xx

Re: Drains
I had the same, bit of a weird feeling but no pain. The hole was tiny and I can't see now where they were put in, no scar. I had no bruising at all, think this had something to do with all the blood being able to drain out, but not sure! You'll be fine xxx the thought of them is far worse than they are xx
