Taking in photos
Hi All,
I was just wondering how many of you took photos in to show your surgeon the look you were going for before your op (e.g. from lads magazines)? My surgery is on Saturday and I've been looking at lots of different photos but they are just confusing me even more. I feel it might be better just to let my surgeon decide what he thinks is best based on my preferences (to be fairly natural looking but perky at the same time). We've agreed on an approximate implant size already.
Just wondered what people's thoughts were on this?
thanks
Hannah

Re: Taking in photos
If there is a certain look you want and you can find the pic that matches that, I dont see no harm in taking a pic to your surgeon. It will give him a good idea of what you want to achieve form your ba. x

Re: Taking in photos
I like the shape they are already, just want them to be bigger with a bit more in the upper section. I'm worried that the photos are just going to confuse matters but at the same time I do feel a photo is the best way to describe what you want. x

Littlewellies - I don't think so as he isn't deciding the size until during surgery and he said I could bring some photos in on the day if I wanted.

Depends on shape I think I took photos to my consultation and he talked me our of the look I wanted and said anatomical would look a lot better, I'd phone them first thing in the morning

Re: Taking in photos
Not now I don't think, I won't be seeing him until Saturday when I have my surgery. He says he's happy for me to bring photos in on the day though.
I was just curious to see whether people thought it's better to use photos or not?
I think maybe I'm just over-worrying about things! Sorry!xx

Re: Taking in photos
Hi I am not sure if it was just me, but the first surgeon I saw seemed almost a bit embarrassed looking at my cut out lad mags pics of boobs! I thought they would be essential in the decision making! He did look at them but only because I asked to show him at the end of the consultation, and then he just made the odd comment, no In depth surgeon patient discussion of them and why or why not I could achieve that/look like that! And here I had spent ages, going thru mags, cutting out and writing notes on them!!!! I did take in a pic of me pre- breast feeding/pregnancies to the second surgeon that I saw, i thought he would make some positive comment but he just said "u weren't very big!" But I suppose that was good in its own way as I do want a bigger cup size than I was a decade ago! Guess all surgeons are different x

Re: Taking in photos
I took in pics when I had my 1st BA. I got what I asked for. I didn't with my 2nd as it was a case of "get rid of these PIP's and give me bigger please" lol x

Re: Taking in photos
Thanks Princess. Think I might take a couple then just to be sure.
At the end of the day, I'm just happy for them to be bigger and I trust my surgeon will make a good decision :) x

Re: Taking in photos
The pics sort of help the surgeon know if you want a natural look, round look, fake look, in proportion.. really big etc x

Hi Han, booked In 19april round overs 420cc although initially he said 390, the next size up is 420 same projection but bit wider so he is letting me have them! First surgeon I saw said 310 cc anatomicals. Funny how u can get such different opinions! X
